Bench grant.

Nothing we should be surprised about guys hands aren't his strong point

Kind of important for a punt returner

I think we all do, for better or for worse.

He had a real bad day, no doubt. He will shake it off and kick ass for
us next week.

Yep. Gotta know some drops will happen and that one was killer BUT I don't think you bench the guy. Encourage him and say you're taking the next one to the house. Did you see the whole team come over to him to support him?

No. We always knew he had hands issues, you accept the trade off and move on.

The best thing we can do (and gase did it) is stand by him

That's what happens when you put a rookie out there and rely on him, see training camp. He wanted so desperately to make a play though, you could see it, rookie mistakes happen. He was heart broken and thankfully the defense bailed him out. Hopefully he learns from it.

I think the worst thing you can do is bench a rookie after a bad game. Tell him it's a bad game and move on. If it happens again then you can think about it.

No way. Grant is a rookie and made a mistake. Guy is dangerous

He was trying too hard to make a play. You can't stop going to him. He will learn his lesson and you have to keep going back to him.

Oh please. He can do better. We have seen it. He had a bad day and thats if.
Lets stop this constant 'bench him and bench him" when a player had a bad player or bad day.

If he runs one back next week you look utterly stupid.
