I am sorry. I am as loyal a Fin fan as there is. Anyone who sees my posts know this. I am done with Lucas. Forget this rah-rah support the team no matter what BS, and its not Ray's fault BS.

FACT: We were the dominant team in the AFC until Lucas starts.

He hit the Jets in the hands with the ball four times that should have been picked off. He fumbled the ball away and gave them the first TD. And the worst crime of all??
He didn't make any plays. If you are going to make mistakes, you have to also make plays. This guy doesn't.
I say enough is enough. I don't care who you start, Rosenfels, Aikman, Marino, Namath, Blanda, ANYONE but Lucas. He sucks his confidence is shot, the team does nto believe in him, and we are watching a Super Bowl season go down the tubes. The team said "we brought Carter in because we want to win now" and then let this guy single handedly throw away the year? Bull Sh*t!!

Remember we probably will not keep this unit intact after this eason. Salary cap will drain our defense.

So, does anyone know how to get a petition started??

True ...True....True.......but Ray Lucas will be starting no matter what ...I think we all need to pray for a miracle that Ray can some how win a couple of games..

Our coachs suck, they will drive the team into the ground starting Lucas. Wayne will be saying "We just put it behind us" ****ing ***s

Why would he be starting? He is 0-3 with a team that was 5-1. I'm sorry, but he's shown he cant win a damn football game. I say start Rosenfels and take our chances. We know Lucas will lose to Baltimore, so lets go with Sage Rosenfels and give him a chance.

Sad enough, I would rather Lucas start against Baltimore than Sage. Sage's first 3 throws looked even worse.

 my thoughts exactly. Unless the coaches consider Sage a warm body and feel like he will never be a NFL QB, he should be out there getting a chance to prove he can play and win. Lucas & Co. squandered 3 solid, if unspectacular, performances by our D and STs. Time for a change.

you cannot use those to judge him by. Let Sage take most of the snaps in practice and play in Mia instead of Mon nite ag possibly the best team in the NFL and he will be at least as good as Ray

No Wanny will say " Ray looked sharp in practice, he will be ok for the Ravens". We will wait until Jay gets back. what if it takes Jay some time to get back to form ? Should we lose another two games before his return?

I say Sage looked great on those 3 throws.... he didn't fumble... he didn't throw an Int... he didn't lose yards.. his QB rating for those 3 passes were better then Lucas'

part of the problem is a coaching thing. lucas had the best plays while rolling out and with play action. this occured while ricky was in the line up. the coaches keep saying they are trying to save ricky for the end of the season and not wear him out. at this rate, there will be no end of the season. ray's play was marginal, but alot of this falls on norv's play calling as well.

get the "damn ball" to ricky any way possible!

    damn this team is making me bipolar :goof:

Sage did what you are SUPPOSED to do, throw it away when there is nothing not fumble it, not throw it into the ****ing defenders, or into the ground. Notice how Jay tosses them out of the End Zone and to the sidelines at least 4 times a game to avoid a turnover? Ray doesnt do that he throws it into the defenders and he fumbles the ball. Sage only got in for 3 throws, what is not enough to judge him by any means. We have seen pathetic Ray for 3 games now and although it has gotten better at not turning it over, he doesnt run the offense good. Jets have piss poor defense and he scored 10 points. He utterly ****ed the team on his last drive turning up into the sacks, starting to run then throwing it poorly, and throwing the last ball of the game into the ****ing ground.

Ol' Wanny is going to have to bench Lucas, if he wants to keep the pressure off his own back for a while longer. It's so painfully obvious now what a crap player Gay Lucas is and the longer Wanny sticks with him, the more people are going to question the coaching. One or two more losses and people are going to be asking for his job big time. This is a talented team that is underachieving and someone needs to stick their foot up their asses and change the mentality NOW. Sticking lucas where the sun dont shine would be a good way to send a message.

Wanny would start Dickerson if he thought it gave him the best chance to win. I'm not apologizing for Lucas, he's had one horrible game off the charts, one terrible though game one against GB, and one mediocre one (last night). But no way is Sage ready to start.

Maybe Fin Fans were too spoiled by Marino to realize that there's a big learning curve with QB's. Lucas played 9 games several years ago but is still a very inexperienced QB.

I can't wait for Fiedler to come back (and praying it's not like the rust he had last time he had a layoff) but benching Lucas is cutting your nose to spite your face. Trying to bestow starting status on Sage b/c he threw away a pass is like saying Robert Edwards should be starting over Ricky b/c his ypc avg last night was higher.
