I am tried of this guy and his play even though I have to admit durinig the first half of the game he was playing like YB of last year which is great. Even though he showed improvement it's time to bench him or cut his a**. The front office has to admit that they were wrong in signing him and cut there losses. If your not going to cut him then atleast bench him and start someone else. He cost us to many games and to many big passing plays and missed takles. BENCH Gibril Wilson or CUT HIM ASAP. In my opinion from the way he was playing the first half against The Saints there was improvement so I would bench him and see how he does during the offseason.

If your feeling like I am plz vote and leave a respone and let's plead are case to the Dolphins and hope they read this thread.

Do you know how the salary cap works? I ask you this, because I want to know why you even consider CUTTING the guy as an option.

It's been 6 games. Relax man. Deep breathes... 'woo-saw'.... 'woo-saw'

Of course I know what a salary cap is and I dont think in hell they will cut him but you have to look at his play over these past few weeks and during the offseason it's been horrible. You may want to sit out and continue to see how he plays but I had enough of his game and causing us games we should have won 2 games(Colts and Chargers) but no we lost them.

Love the woo-saw lol

why cut him? why does everyone have to jump to the conclusions of cutting guys?? cut Wilson, cut Ginn, cut Bess...

yes you could bench him, but the coaching staff feels hes better than the backups on the bench, so you wanna bring in someone even worse than him? our backup guys are young and inexperienced, and playing safety takes a lot of knowledge and study... a player like Clemons apparently isn't ready yet

The Safety situation can not be solved until the off-season, but it certainly has to be addressed. Neither of our Safeties are good in coverage and its hurting us alot. Wilson has been a major disappointment and Bell has not played to near the level he was at last season. Maybe both would be playing better if they had a good pass coverage safety beside them, but for the time being, neither of them are very good in pass coverage and it will cost us again and again as the season progresses.

This game put a lot in perspective for me..
Wilson needs to have his playing time cut in half and we need to have Culver playing more.
I join the rest of finheaven in my Hate of Ted Ginn.
He should be inactive for next week vs the Jets.

I say cut him, but I know that the salary cap and safety depth won't allow it. This guy is horrible. Jeremy Shockey made him his ***** on that catch and run. Horrible! There is absolutely no way that Culver could not imrove the position, heck Jason Allen would at least give some effort here. The trifecta needs to admit its mistake and move on to someone else.

Gibril just isn't living up to expectations. I will go on record to say he played better than he has in previous games, but he's still not living up to expectations.

Maybe he does need a bit more time, but time is not something we have anymore. I voted for bench him, but I was really considering voting for "give him more playing time and see what happens."

i said bench because he could go to a division rival and
start spilling his guts about our schemes.

i do want to cut his sorry arse at seasons end though.

Both Safeties are playing like crap. He is just icing on the cake when it comes to mediocre/terrible play.

6 of the worse games by a safety I have witnessed in watching over 30 years of football.
Yes he's playing out of position but who in there right mind brings in a carbon copy of Bell and expects that player to excel.Doesn't mgmt watch game film before they sign a player for 30 million dollars???

Wilson cant cover plane and simple(and the missed tackles dont help, plus riding pigyback for 30 yards is just comical...

Why do we keep playing Wilson at a position that his skills cannot and will not improve???Why did they sign him in the first place??Couldn't a second round pick in the previous draft been used on a safety instead of useless white.

Wilson stinks yet we see him torched each and every week, yet he is still playing all the snaps...so who is really at fault here???

WQAM caller just asked if Wilson is the best player we have to play safety. Mandich thought it was a good question and he isn't sure if he is but he thinks there are going to be changes coming.

In favor of who?

The exact point people always seem to forget when they start blurting out "Oh we should bench/cut this guy and that guy"

Face it, we gave Wilson a sizeable contract, impossible to cut him even if you wanted to.

And he is our only FS on the roster, and the only other guys who can play the position are Jason Allen and Tyrone Culver. Culver has shown promise, but he will never be a starter, he sadly is a career backup who excells on special teams coverage. Jason Allen was a failed experiment who was terrible as a CB and FS, and finally has found his niche as a special teams guy, why take him out of that spot to put him in the spot he sucked at?

Overall, we invested too much in Wilson to give up. He's shown signs of being very good, sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad.

I Don't think he should be in on passing downs. He is to much of a liability, he played good against the jets and played good the first half of the saints game. i think a benching is due but not for ever just to light a FIRE under his ***, he has very good sometimes.. just not all the time. let him start and when he makes a bone head move bench him for the rest of the series. let Culver get more playing time
