benching tannehill

amazing how only some fans oh this site recognize the greatness that is Matt Moore. The guy that Miami had David Garrard starting over until he got hurt. You would think if Moore was so good that some team would have offered a solid trade for this beacon of qb talent or that he would have tested free agency because surely some team was ready to make him a very rich man

We need Tannehill to keep playing as this season was supposed to be all about his development. You have to admit though if Matt Moore ever came in and the team started winning Finheaven would become interesting and probably extremely comical. The excuses as to why we are better with Moore would be flying and we all know that. These excuses would be very, very comical.

Let Tannehill play receiver. He was a better receiver than a quarterback. He sucked at A&M. He couldn't beat out two bum quarterbacks.

If knowledge is power, you're medicated cotton...

I don't want Moore in the game but also let be honest, we can blame the ref the coaches, the O line etc. . but the bottom line is the 2 fumbles by Tanny were about 90% as to why we loss those 2 games.

you hit the nail on the coffin. thats true

i was looking at aaron rodgers in last nights game and he scrambles when the pocket collapeses yet still makes play. tannehill isnt a pocket passer with a horrible o-line. he needs to scramble. he can run but gets scared.

What's frustrating is his lack of progression. We are half-way through the second season with the Tannehill experiment and he's regressing!! The guy is going to be holding a clip board for some team in a few seasons. Unfortunately it will probably take another year of failure for us to realize he just doesn't have "it".

The problem is that he is not developing fast enough. He is way behind due to his lack of actual QB experience. Who wants to wait 3 more years to find out that he is only going to be average at best.

He's going to continue to start until at least the end of the year. IMO he's shown enough that he gets one more year even if the coaching staff gets turned over.

As bad as this crpa is right now, the absolute worst thing that could happen would be to bench the QB instead of letting him develop. If he turns out to bust, then you didn't really lose anything (this team isn't going anywhere), but if he develops into something good, then at least this crap will have had a silver lining.

Bro, he has already turned out to be a bust. We have been down this road before. Starting Turnoverhill any further is pointless.

Start Matt Moore and try to salvage the season. We already know Tannebust isnt the answer. We will be drafting a QB again this year if we are smart.

I've been a huge Tannehill supporter but Moore is coming in sooner or later. Probably because of injury to Tannehill, so we might as well bite the bullet now.
I'm not sure Tanney is a bust yet, but he's certainly not ready and it would probably do him a world of good to watch Moore for the rest of the season.
Next year we find yet another friggin QB, have a fair training camp and go from there.
