Bengal fans taking the Phins for granted? I never thought Id see the day..

Ya its only been one week of this **** and im already tired of it LOL we have been spoiled.
 
naw they are optimistic thats all.. some of them think its gonna be close..

and its the same here.. some think we are gonna spank them and some think its gonna be close
 
Ya I know.. But there once was a time not too long ago that such statements would have been unheard of..

So is life... :(

Good luck to the Bengal fans out there.. Just not too much luck! :)

Hey fellas.... I told Mindwarp I'd come eat some crow over here if the Bengals lose this week. So I figured i'd get to know some of you guys first.

As for me... I'm a mis-placed Marino fan living in Bengaldom from birth. Just wanted to wish you guys luck this weekend. It's going to be a great game. Hopefully our D will have a better showing and you guys figure out the QB situation. We know all to well how that goes.

Dont give up hope over here. Everyone will figure New England out and Indy has already been exposed. If not the division then Wildcard is still a very good shot. So no matter what happens Sunday, I dont think it'll be the end of our relationship. We'll try to hold up our end over here and get these Bengals rollin. But like a poker game amongst friends.... someones gotta win.

Dont take our overconfidence on our boards as a bad thing. We havent had anything like this in a while so it kinda spills over a little bit. We know full well the dangers that lurk in the waters!!!!
 
As if you guys acted any different talking about the Titans, you all thought it was a win too.

No team is going to think they are in for a loss if they are respectable. Get over it
 
I know others have said similar things, but I just wanted to say that there has been a lot of great Bengals fans here this last week or so. I think it's something some fans out there should take note of for themselves. Can't wait until Sunday night--I really enjoy Sunday night games on ESPN w/ the presentation and camera work they use!
 
Show me ONE fan that said we were going to ROLL OVER the Titans? I doubt you can find one..

Anyway, Im over it.. It actually must be a really exciting time for those Bengal fans.. They really deserve it.. As much as I wouldnt want them to endure an 0-2 start again, I hope they do for our sake.. :(
 
Ya gotta understand guys that after going through what we have went through we think we have every right to talk like that lol Its not that we are trying to be pricks because its all in fun. I have enjoyed talking with the few of you that i have talked to and I hope you guys feel the same way about our site. Its all friendly unlike other fan sites. I think all of us are going to enjoy a very good football game under the lights with a beautiful skyline looming in the background. Its gonna be fun FinFans :)

I'm not going to search it up, but the week before the game there were a handful of predictions of winning by more than 14 points. You can look it up if you want

Let them have their fun. They havent had a great team in a long time, and they seem classy about it anyway especially later in the thread.

Living in Ohio all my life, I have had no choice but to follow the Bengals and Browns all my life. I know what dangers lurk in the Jungle this year. This is the first coach, in I can't remember how many years, that has finally had free reign with your team.

This is going to be one hard fought game, I am hoping from both sides. I am a touch concerened with Tim Bowens not in the mix. Robinson is very new to this team and missed a few gap assignments last week. I hope they get corrected, if not Rudi could have some room to run.

I will just stop short as I am short on time and say this: This will not be an easy game for us. If our Defense can step up and play 60 minutes it will be one heck of a game. I wish you luck.

I will end on this note. If we win there will be some that will flood your message boards with smack talk, though I hope it doesn't happen. If you win, I will expect the same thing, but I will take it with a grain of salt knowing that certain memebers here would have done the same thing.

I guess what I'm getting at is, don't judge the Fins fan base on what happens if you loose and I will not judge the Bengals fan base based on what happens if you win.
