Ok, this guy seems to be a monster but a RAW one.
6'2 225 should run btw 4.4-4.45 area maybe 4.5.

He is extremely physical, loves to hit, block etc. Possibly best run blocking WR in a while but rumours of himbeing stiff, not a good route runner, and catches iwht his body exist. Haven't seen him play much and ppl say he cna go top 15 and some say 2nd to 3rd. ANyone know much about him?
 
ive wanted this guy since last year. He is a monster, with terrible stats because of the sucky offense he's in. kind of like briscoe
 
I think the FO takes him if he falls to the second round. But I have a feeling it will be a mostly defensive draft, but that could all change depending on the FA signings.
 
im not a big fan of drafting guys who underperformed in the college level (with first round picks) based on potential. Im not sold on him yet... i would rather have Eric Decker with a later pick. Hes gonna be good.
 
Benn has the body to play in the NFL right now. If he's there, take him, no questions asked. Dude goes up and battles for every ball. In the Illini's last game, he scored a touchdown at the end of the first half by simply ripping the ball out of the defenders hands as the two went up at the goal line for a 50 yard touchdown. I've wanted him to be a Fin since his first spring practices at Illinois, which was when he wasn't even really a freshman because he enrolled early so he could work out with the team a couple months in advance.
 
I've not seen him play much....but he does look pretty good in this YouTube Clip.....catches the ball nicely in traffic, very nice speed and running ability and good size. You can also see he spends a lot of time in the gym...huge guns:

Based on what I am reading, and I admit to not knowing crap, but trust my instincts, this guy will be an underachiever.

When people bring size into it as if that is all we are looking for, I tend to doubt highly. This guy reminds me of Braylon Edwards. He is suppose to be great, and it shows sometimes, but fizzles as season progresses because his head is into himself or believes in something thats not really all that.

Pure out of left field on my part, but once again, I trust my instincts.

BP and co. will not look at anyone like Benn with our first pick. Why? Because they think they can find someone else just as similar later so they wont even go there.

They will look to get strong on Defense to stop the high powered offenses in the league that just do not lose.

They want character guys who will fight week in and week out and not get down because we are 0-3 out of the shoot. Benn is a nice looksie but if the guy cant even compare to Nicks in their mind, they just wont go there.

UNLESS OF COURSE, THEY USE THE HYPE TO MAKE EVERYONE THINK WE ARE GOING WR ONLY TO STEAL SOMEONE AWAY OR KEEP OTHERS FROM STEALING THE GUY WE REALLY WANT!

Long way to go til draft day.
 
On second thought, after watching the vid, he could be Johnson from Houston.

I wonder what Vontae Davis would have to say about Benn.

I also wonder what Baltimore will be thinking should they end up picking in front of us.

exacty!! i just watched the video, and i am impressed too. i think we have no shot at dez bryant unless we were to trade up. and i know we won't do that. but benn could fall to us in the first round. i would love if we drafted him. i like that fact that vontae played with him. it would give us some great insight.
 
Keep in mind Ireland mention part of the reason for drafting Vontae was they trusted what his HC said about him bc they have a personal relationship. If the coach gives his endorsement, he may be the pick.

indeed. that is another thing that sounds nice. vontae has worked out pretty good so far. i love having inside connections. i also like miles austin from the cowboys. he was handpicked by parcells. so i wouldn't be surprised to see us make a run at him this off season :up:
 
Benn is an animal. The guy reminds me of a faster Anquan Boldin/Andre Johnson.

I'd do handstands if Miami gets lucky enough to pick him in the first.
