Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins OL Joe Berger was working with the second team Monday, Aug. 14, after spending the first two weeks of camp with the third unit.
 
Yeah Berger's work on Saturday night made them promote him from 3rd string center to 2nd string center. They moved Wade Smith from 2nd string center to 2nd string LG. Joe Toledo had been officially listed as the 2nd string LG but he's been playing 2nd string RG because of McKinney's injury, and I think maybe Pape had been playing in the 2nd string but now finds himself bumped back to 3rd string.
 
This is good news for both Toledo and Berger ...

If you add in Alabi and McIntosh ... that basically closes out the OL ... and put McKinney on PUP -- just in case

Not surprising with Smith ... but C was his only shot.

The question on the OL still revolves around Anderson ... the 2 on the outside looking in should be Pearson and Pape ... interesting that they didn't try Pearson at G ... even if he doesn't move well anymore ... Anderson doesn't move well either.
 
Pearson is too small to be a guard in our system, I think. I wonder who is taking the snaps at 3rd (or scout team C)???
 
Not surprised after Wade Smith's poor performance in game vs. Jax. Glad to see youth movement as well.
 
Well, I'm not suprised to see Wade struggling still. He didn't play last year, and he's never had a single solid position on the OL. I think he can still learn though.
 
Well I know they moved our 2nd team C to first string guard or something. So I guess this Berger is filling the open 2nd string hole.

Yea me too. when the cuts come around he probably won't be here anymore. I was kind of pullin for the guy, but that snap in the game was just dreadful.

Was it really the snap or the fact that he blocked the guard after he snapped it?
