Berger, a career backup seemed to handle one of the best NTs in football well. Ricky had pretty good numbers and there usually a nice pocket for Henne to sit and check his reads. If Satele was in there, I definitely could see Wilfork completely destroying our Oline...

Picking up Berger seems to have been a really underrated pickup for us. Nate Garner has been awesome too!

Donald Thomas wasn't in there in the 2nd half either. I didn't watch the 1st half on DVR again, so I don't know who started. In the 2nd, Smiley was at LG and Garner at RG.

Berger was a Fin back when Saban was here, but they were stupid to waive him especially with all the promise he showed. Dallas picked him up and they really liked the kid, I think he started two games for them last year. Satele was awful, and he did not fit the system. I met him personally and the guy was real nice, but he could not get the job done. What hurts even more is seeing we gave up Welker for him, but after the comments Welker made when he got traded, I think he is a peice of crap.

As for Nate Garner, the kid has been awesome. He played great for Smiley. He has been rewarded for it and now is in Thomas place. We now have excellent depth.

Yea. Samson Satele blows. That hasnt been a secret.

our Whole oline group is very talented... they keep impressing me week in and week out, especially when guys like grove or smiley went down, and others stepped in and did a helluva job...

Garner is impressive, and Berger did a hell of a job against Wilfork last week. As for Satele, you know he has to be terrible, he can't even cut it with Oakland.

The Fins have awesome depth along the line, Berger & Garner have done an excellent job. When Grove returns Berger will provide excellent depth. Also there are reports the Thomas is gonna be benched in favor of Garner. If Thomas is indeed benched we are gonna have excellent deoth along the line.

i wonder if there's still some dolfans out there thinking we got the worse out of that trade... :rolleyes2:

hey with that pick we got Brian Hartline (if i am correct) and satele isn't missed for one second here...

that whole cam cameron draft produced nothing in return all those high picks too....what a shame !

this goes a long way to show Zach Thomas' faith and commitment to this team... remember when he said it was probably the best draft he ever witnessed in Miami ?

I'm pretty sure he was simply being supportive to the coach and front office because they were getting loads of crap from the fans...

what a class act, i miss him :(

(on the other hand, he might've been honest... in that case i don't ever want him to be a scout/personnel director/ GM for the fins  !!)
