If this kid got his stuff together, i think he could definately make any roster, I have friends that tell me when Brock first started in college, he lit it up for two seasons then fell off the face of the earth. Lets just pray that he can regain some of that old form, I hate bashing my own players, even through the huard, mitchell, fiedler, feeley seasons but i have to say that Aj looks like a total scatterbrain back there, even berlin shows more poise, lets face it guys, by stats, gus will probably be the best qb we have had since the great one, hell at least he made a pro bowl. He still is not the long term answer we all want though, but one thing is for certain, anybody we ever get will never live up to what we had in the greatest qb to throw a pigskin, we must draft or next season deal for a young talented qb

couldn't agree more...bin saying it for a while now...none of the qbs on our roster are the long term answer, if we are to become a contender Saban will either draft or deal for a qb.

Well Said, But For The Mean Time We Need To Cut Our Loses And Get Rid Of Feely. Not Only Will He Not Play This Year We're Paying Him A **** Load Of Money. Like I Said Cut His A$$ And We'll Save A Lot Of Cash Toward The Cap This Year And Next... Just Do It Nick Never Mind The 2nd Round Pick We Lost Just Do It ....

If I understand it correctly we will not be saving money, we would be losing it. It has nothing to do with what we gave up for him. We would take a monsterous cap hit if we cut him. So forget it. Get used to seeing him this year.

When Brock first started college, he was a back-up to Rex Grossman. That is why he went to UM.
I'm with you on wanting someone w/ potential to take over. Just not sure Brock is the man.

i guess im the only one whos seen this guy play in college, he couldnt make it in Florida and he brought the UM down all by himself.

That's because Rex was older I believe and was already established as the starter. It was not a knock on Brock was was like the #1 high school QB. Brock has enough skill for me, I only have one issue with him which I believe is coachable.

Under snap, he's fine if he has time to pick out his reads, but will rush a throw or get sacked when not given a lot of time (first year at UM). Put him in the shot gun, or no huddle and the boy is simply butter.

We all know Sage will never start, Brock is a rookie. With him we have the opportunity to have him groomed into a starter, to be better then Sage and to possibly start. Because of that, he has much more upside. I'd like to see the kid get a chance.

Or we could cut Gus and save about the same money !!

Besides, if Gus is our game one starter, its a given he'll be on the bench either with injury or poor play by the 5th or 6th game...that is his MO if you look at his history as a STARTER....

Because of injury, poor play and a losing season don't be surprised if all the qbs on this team get a chance to start. I wouldn't be surprised if berlin took advantage of this. The expectations for him would be less and thus I believe his occasional mishap would be over looked as long as he provided the spark to lead this team. Better to give him the playing time as opposed to a 34 year old journeyman qb that won't be around long enough to take us to any superbowl. The sad reality is we just don't have a lot of good options at qb on this team. The old sayin you cann't polish a turd comes to mind.

No, he didn't light it up. He was a backup to Grossman and when Grossman left there was a QB competition and BB was splitting time at first then he eventually lost. That's why he transferred to UM.

Feeley sucks

First: Cut Feeley. For all the reasons posted and too many more to explain in a simple way other than he is a no talent, hurt on every drive, interception throwing, career back up QB.He barely played in high school, took LESS than 500 snaps in college, and was unproved when we dealt a 2ND ROUND PICK for him.

Second:Give Brock a chance. He was the number one QB recruit out of high school.Went to Flordia and sat behind Grossman, who had more experience.Transferred to the U and sat behind Dorsey while redshirted.Didn't have the best season the next year but DRAMATICALLY turned his stats around,in particular the INTS.He is in a Tom Brady mold where he was a star at a big time program and was overshadowed by bigger names(David Terrell and Anthony Thomas). Now I'm not saying Berlin will be the next Brady but let's see.Tom had Bledsoe,Weis and Belichick to learn from.Let's see if Brock will learn from Gus,Scott Linehan and Nick Saban.

Third:please let Vince Young be available to us next year.

GO brock! he has as much of a chance as oh i dont know .. a brady? LOL I wish .. but seriously .. AJ hasnt shown me anything .. and ferrotte looks merly serviciable... lets let sage and brock fight for second and third string ...I hate to say it but they have looked better so far.

that makes no sense Grossman was a good college QB and will one day if he can ever stay healthy can be a good NFL Q.B.

Brock had some rough times at Miami but give him a chance
