Moved up to light heavy and dismantled Tarver including a knockdown. Lopsided unanimous decision.

Surprised me due to Hopkins's age, but Hopkins has a history of bullying the pretty boy fighters and making them look sick, i.e. Trinidad and De la Hoya.

This result reminded me how great Roy Jones was at one point, since he defeated Hopkins easily in '93, unanimous decision and not close on points. Hopkins was already 27 at that point so I'm not buying he was too young and inexperienced. Jones was 24 at the time.

Jones was extremely wise to avoid Hopkins in the rematch that was scheduled a few months ago, then called off.

I didn't order the fight, because I'll see it for free next week on HBO.But, I heard all the neighbors going nuts.
I heard that Tarver was too soft because he gained alot of weight due to the upcoming Rocky movie.
I can't wait to see the fight next week.

oh yes. i picked Hopkins in this fight easily. He could of knocked him out easily if he wanted to. Tarver was clearly shaken from the first 3 rounds throughout the entire fight.
