Bernie Kosar: Flynn to Seattle

Someone tell why ,when I'm reading @BernieKosarQB timeline...

why is everyone getting so distraught over a BACK UP qb?

no one wants the guy. he has been exposed to the leauge for over a week now and NO takers!!

if seattle REALLY, REALLY wanted him, they could have made a deal to keep him off the plane. they have NO starting qb right now and no decent backup! he could walk right in and start. the hawks run a wco to. but, they let him walk.

the browns? they were NEVER serious. they were trying to get under miamis skin so they would panic and lock flynn up leaving them a shot at tannehill, which they will probably do in a trade up.

coming here, he has to COMPETE with matt moore. he may have a jump on the system but he doesnt know our players. he wont have the skilled players he had in green bay.

he SHOULD have taken whatever seattle offered. he is going to be bummed as hell when he cant unseat matt moore.

Getting back to my original point since the Kosar tweet: if Flynn's two former coaches aren't pushing Ireland/Ross to sign him then good bye

Why would he be unable to unseat Matt Moore? Did Moore somehow increase his stature in the offseason? He's a very average QB who had a "career year". I don't think we have to worry about Flynn not being able to beat out Moore especially since he knows Philbin's system inside and out.

If we don't land Flynn it's because Philbin didn't rate him high enough to spend big money on him, so then we dodge a bullet there too, it's a win win for us regarding Flynn. If we like him we'll get him and if we really don't we let him walk. Sounds good to me. . .
