Unbelievably the season is over. Never would have thought we'd be this bad. The malaise over the team is palpable.

Anyway, I'm done w Henne as most of you are and expect we will be in position to grab a highly rated college QB.Obviously Luck is the man we would all want, but if we don't quite suck that bad, who would be worthy of say, a top 5 pick?

Landry jones

Barkley From USC very raw talent seems focused and might become great in the NFL, but Luck is one in a decade type of talent the kid is calling his own plays in offense and putting in around 400 yards of offense does this sound like the next Peyton to you?

And there you go...The two posts above mentioned the other 2 top 10 QBs...

Thread over?

no to landry jones...matt barkleys the guy...but we likely need a top 2 pick to land him...and even if i had the #2 pick i would still try to put a package in trade together to move up to #1 for luck...if that didn't work then i'd pluck barkley

hands down

Gonna have to be #1 overall for this kid...

And I think we win 5-6 meaningless games...

In the off chance we don't have a chance at any of these three who is the pick? As much as we all want a QB do we want to waste a pick reaching for anyone but Luck, Jones or Barkley.

no...i trade down if possible til around 20 and acquire chips and take gulp an offensive lineman...this line is dreadful and david decastro of stanford would make a hell of an interior olineman at guard...yeah i know interior oline again but at around 20 he makes sense and i can find a guy to play right tackle once we lose that trash colombo later...

no qb i'm going top guard prospect in trade down...just the way its shaking out off of what i'm seeing this season...

but bottom line is if you don't go all out in effort to get in position to take luck or barkley and i mean all your chips on the table and available in the event we don't finish with a top 2 pick you FAIL...

I've seen hs name come up a few times this season as someone to keep an eye on but to be honest, I haven't caught any Baylor games so all I know of him is what shows up in his highlights. Any one with any knowlege of his play that can expound upon it?

personally i would not be comfortable using a top 10 pick on the baylor qb...there's only 2 qbs i'd be comfortable with that high a pick and thats luck and barkley but i'm also smart enough to realize given the demand for the position a landry jones may go much higher than i think he should and this baylor kid who knows

If he can return to how he was playing last year and maintain it for the rest of the season, Kirk Cousins might start getting scouts to look at him as a first round pick.

the only thing we could pray for is the rams get 1 and we get 2, and we still get luck. because the rams will not draft another qb
