The win against the Patriots was the best any Dolphin team has looked under Gase yet.

They did not play well offensively in the 4th quarter and got away with it because the defense played really well and Haack punted really well too - and coverage was pretty good.

I guess had Grant not dropped that bomb he would have looked like Duper streaking down the sideline and I would have said nearly perfect game. He did drop it though and nearly dropped the game - missing chancing to seal the Patriots game is usually a death knell.

Just when I was done with Gase and this stupid team they go and do something like this....and totally redeem themselves!

I agree, it's the best a Gase coached team has looked and it was pretty evident why: we kept stupid mistakes to a minimum. 0 false starts, 1 defensive offside, 1 missed tackle, 1 illegal block in the back. Usually this happens on every other drive. This just shows if you play mistake free football you can go places. It's what I wanted to see from this team and I can't stop smiling today because it's the ****ing Patriots that were on the receiving end of this Miami performance. I don't care if the Dolphins win out this year as long as we have 3 more games just as clean as this one. No stupid mistakes and I will change my tune on the coaching staff.

Surely I'm not the only one who was saying "why haven't we done this all year"????? Things like Grant involved, weird formations, etc

Agreed, I think this was Adams vision for the offense but the lack of execution has kept him from breaking or out.

But I mean, why were we using that crappy bubble screen over and over in games this year? When we came out last night 5 wide and 4 man bunches it was crazy, I had no idea what was going to happen and I've watched every snap this year. This is the creativity we need, I just don't get why it's week 14 and we're just seeing it now. I suppose QB injuries and simple playbook are one reason but still..., could have seen some of this sooner

Didn't Gase say players were not learning the plays and he had to scale the offense way back? I would assume that and Jay A. needing to get his touches or he will cry had a lot to do with it.

They looked great last night. That was a huge win! After that, I can definitely see them finishing 9-7 which is pretty amazing considering the QB situation.

I'm with ya man... the offense has been so predictable all year, hell just two weeks ago patriot defenders were saying they knew what we were going to do on offense pre snap and now all of a sudden we're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them. I dont buy into the whole oh players didnt know the playbook argument... thats bs.

I have to wonder whether the players were reacting with demoralization to the lack of aggressiveness in the play-calling, on both sides of the ball, throughout the season, prior to last night.

The Grant element is something I thought we would have seen early in the season.

He adds a scariness element to our offense.

Think about this the Patriots put their BEST DB on Grant(Not Landry, Not Still, Not Parker) and he beat that guy once and pretty much beat him the second time.

What does that tell you?
