Best Case Scenario - IMO

For as long as I have been an avid dolphins fan the team has been looking for a franchise WR, when we finally get one he is traded for 2 3rd round draft picks ( I think we could've gotten much more). After I heard about Brandon Marshall being traded for two 3rd round picks I immediately assumed that it was the first domino to fall in a series. I assumed that it was the first move being made to try and bring in Manning + Wayne. Now that Reggie Wayne has re-signed and Manning apparently has the broncos on his mind I have lost most if not all of my optimism. So here is what I think is the best case scenario for the dolphins this offseason (if we dont get manning):

1. Sign Flynn
2. Sign LLoyd
3. Draft blackmon with the 8th pick
4. Sign Winston

Now I know that will be expensive but if we restructure Bell + Long + Dansby we SHOULD have enough room. At the end of the day this is just my opinion after what was a really disappointing and shocking day to me.

Could the plan be to draft Tannehill or sign Flynn and surround him with young weapons while getting rid of a young quarterbacks nightmare in Brandon Marshall?

Lloyd is the same kind of a possible lockerroom-problem rhan Marshall. Maybe worst. Forget this step.
And forget it to get Blackmon at #8

Best case scenario would be the Colts foolish enough to take our 1st 2nd and 2 3rds over the next two years to get the #1 spot and draft Luck.

You know what's hilarious? Objectively, there is no rational thought process which leads you to believe that a Flynn to Lloyd combo is any better than a Henne to Marshall combo... Lloyd only played well on one team in 1 system, whereas Marshall had been a beast for his entire career, and we gave him away for nothing. Awesome. Matt Flynn had one great game against one ****ty defense, so what? Even Moore lit up the Chiefs and Bills. Not impressive.

#2. We're not getting Blackmon at 8, there's no way in hell he falls.

#3 Hey I want Winston, but once again, it looks like our o line will have nothing worthwhile to protect.

Moore was 6-3 with our crappy right side. Flynn should be an upgrade. Look at the Green Bay WRs and thats the model we will draft or get in free Agency. No giant Marshalls who drop balls on Green Bays team.
