I can't post a poll; maybe someone else can for me. Who do you think has been our best coach since Shula? If you had to take one of them to coach the team next year (don't take the easy out and say none of them), who would you choose?

Probably Saban (that'll be popular :chuckle:) ... But, since he quit on us - F him!

Gotta be Wanny, but probably woulda been Saban if he didnt quit like a biatch.

It has to be Wannstedt b/c he actually went to the postseason. Yeah they got killed once there which is Dolphins tradition but it's better than Cameron, Sparano, Saban, and Philbin's accomplishments.

No way.

Wanny gets full credit for starting the ****ing slide that we're STILL travelling down.

You ****ing said Nick Saban was the answer. You have no clue on the subject

Actually, none of them are the answer ... But since the OP asked which one was the best coach - It's "little Napoleon" :idk:

Jimmy Johnson. He also drafted a nucleus of players that was a solid defense for nearly a decade. He doesn't seem to get a lot of credit on this board for some reason, and I'm not sure why that is?

Sadly it's probably the following order:

JJ
Wanny
Saban
Sparano
Philbin
Cameron

It's essentially getting progressively worse

Jimmy was better than Saban but neither were good for the Dolphins

Does JJ get more credit for his GM role in building the defense? What about just his coaching alone? Which one, if given this team at the start of the season, would accomplish the most with it?
