He was asked if He could spend to the Cap or if they wouldn't have enogh money to spend to the Cap. Ross answer was. This is were it gets good.

'' Bill Parcells is running the Football, and If I were to put handcuffs on Parcells I wount not have Parcells.''

Our new owner just won some major points from my side.....

wow, its good to know that our owner knows what owning is about. let the football guys stick to making a football team and let the money guys stick to making the money. rarely do those things interfere with each other, many times they go hand in hand
 
Now if Ross is really smart, he'll throw The Tuna a piece of the team, or at least an office building or two to seal the deal
 
Everytime I see a picture of this guy I like him less.

I liked Wayne, this guy seems like a meddling, blue-blooded billionaire.
 
couldn't have ross waited AFTER the draft to make this move ?

considering the POSSIBILITY that bill might want to leave, he'll keep all his draft notes to himself obviously and won't help us out... that might have been the best comment from our new owner, but the timing of the sale is his first bad move
 
ESPN NEWS reported that Ross was told by Parcells he was going to stay and didn't want to leave Miami...

You think Parcells wouldn't have been aware of that?

At that point it would just be using him, which would ultimately piss Parcells the hell off
 
Notice he deftly avoided money. Why couldn't he have said; '' Bill Parcells is running the Football, and If I were to put handcuffs on Parcells I wount not have Parcells. I commit to giving Bill Parcells whatever resources, monetary or otherwise he needs to run football operations.''
