Sign Jennings, he'll play a role. The veteran leader, the guy you know what to expect from.
Other than him only Landry is a sure thing.
Trade down with the Eagles. Chip Kelly is on a mission to re-assemble his Oregon Ducks.
He'd be in a much better position to leapfrog the Jets for Mariota on Draft Day from #14 than from #20.
Throw Jordan in, in exchange for Mychal Kendricks who is now expendable with the Alonso trade.
Recoup our 3rd.
Pick Jalen Mills at #20, he'll be special despite his issues. We've supported Philbin on the Wallace thing but coaches have to be able to mentor and right the paths of troubled, immature kids, who just happen to have skills. Not as a disciplinarian, but teaching them other ways of life now they're not stuck in gang, drug and family issues.
Philbin lost his son, I wish he could adopt kids like Stills and Mills and be a father to them.
Load the sniper-scoped rifle and aim for Phillip Dorsett.
Wait for pick #40 and start offering our next year's first to teams to pick Dorsett.
Stills, Landry, Jennings, Dorsett and Matthews is pretty good. WR is like RB to us. Actually RB might be more important, we are coining the term WR by committee here.
No tall WR, but no need, we are gonna be running double TE sets most of the time, BTW, resigning Clay is a must. So much I even forgot to mention it, it should be a given in anybody's off-season plan.
After getting Dorsett, now keep asking all teams for trade ups from #47 for Jake Fisher. Swing OT, starting RG.
These two guys are MUST gets. That's why even if it's a spot or two we need to trade up, we should do it at almost any cost. They're perfect fits for our needs and posses elite physical talent.
Pick Jarvis Harrison in the Eagles' 3rd. No need to trade up, he'll be there.
Let Harrison and Turner fight out the LG spot.
Everybody talks about BPA, I like our approach better since Hickey is here, 'We know our guys, where to get'em and how much to pay them'. Tannenbaum has only reinforced this.
We can run out of late picks if needed so, but we need to trade up from the fourth back into the third for Jay Ajayi.
If we have any picks left last thing I'd want would be another DT.
We better kill it this season and make the POs cause if this fails, Philbin gets fired, not that it'd be bad but it would not be ideal obviously.
IMO Tannenbaum, Hickey and Aponte already earned their jobs if they pull this off and I would actually involve them in the coaching search if I were Ross.
I like the direction we are going in.
