What player do you think made the greatest catch in Miami Dolphins history? I personally think it was the Chambers catch against the Texans on opening day a couple years back.

Don Shula catching Dan Marino late in the 1st round AFTER the Jets overlook him for Blackledge.

It was funny on draft day they were showing flashbacks to the Jets fans reaction to all their picks from past years and it showed the one where they picked Blackledge, pretty funny on how pissed they were.

Right off the top of my head, I would say there are a couple.......

1. Oronde Gadsden one handed grab against the Jets a few years back.

2. Nat Moore's helicopter spin at New York in the early 80's.

3. Mark Duper or Mark Clayton's (can't remember right off the top of my head) TD catch against Kansas City in the 1990 playoff win. It was more a great throw, but it took a great catch to haul in the location of the ball. Marino had a 12 inch by 12 inch target to put the ball in and he did.

Just a couple right off the top of my head. CC has made some great catches as well.

Duper hauling in a one hander down the right sideline from Marino that beat the Jets on a Monday night.

Orande Gadsen's catch against the Jets a few years ago was damn good too.

Actually, Blackledge went earlier in round one. The jets took Ken O'Brien with the pick just before the Phins. O'Brien did win some shoot outs against Marino, 48-45 in OT one game, but he obviously was no where near the QB Dan the Man was. Still...better than Todd Blackledge...he never did a thing!

WR - Mark Clayton I believe it was monday night where Marino gunned across the middle and Clayton jumped up and caught the ball only with his finger tips. It was going so fast that the ball went through his hands and was only able to hold on to it with his finger tips.

I remember the play and was screaming like a little girl who just lost her doll.
My friends went and got me another beer + they owed me a case after that game.

I just couldn't remember which Mark caught the pass right off the top of my head.

McDuffie (I believe) caught one ball on a Monday nighter that actually went thru his hands. He caught the backside of it.
