Best news of the offseason so far???

CUTTING LOU POLITE.

Ok maybe not best news of offseason but after the trade for Reggie Bush and the Nfl Lockout being lifted This transaction ranks right their in my book. Let me Explain. . .

See Polite represents everything this team was, All we thought they know, And all we thought they would always be with this regime. . . a historically correct but modernly retarded offensive philosophy. Based on a run first and no mistake/risk philosophy.

Charles Clay represents the exact opposite. . .While being capable of lead blocking in spurts, No mistaking CLays strengths lay in the passing game. He is a matchup nightmare with his rumored 4.5 speed and Size. He can Line up as the TE. . . s the full back out the back field. . .or even split wide. . .

Cutting Polite and opting to start clay tells me one thing. . . . This team is prepared to give you guys exactly what you wanted. . .Change. And its coming in waves. . . or tsunamis perhaps.

This will be a pass first team that will take advantage of mismatches. We will be an attacking offense with Rosaio and Fasano both underrated pass catchers at TE. Bush and Thomas make up a great one two punch out the backfield as receiving threats with bush as one of the best of all time in that category. And although many are upset with the release of Polite that in my opinion was the deciding factor for my now POSITIVE outlook on this season.

Bess, Marshall, and Hartline are all great for a spread matchup Offense. All three are great route runners and can play multiple postions at WR which will allow them to take advantage of Linebacker and safety coverage schemes with motion etc. Marshall and Hartline have more than adequate speed and can get behind a Def.

Gates is the true home run threat that doesn't have to catch many passes and will still have an amazing impact on how defenses are able to cover Marshall. . . and Bess. . . . and Bush. . . . and Hartline. . . .and Rosario. . . .You starting to see this FOs plan? Cause i sure am. And I applaud such a change from a man who previously has been the complete opposite. Sparano sucked it up looked himself in the mirror and said THINGS ARE GONNA CHANGE. Gotta like that.

All of this will drastically improve the run game and keep the def on their toes. Opposing Defenses will seldom be able to guard us using a base 4-3 or 3-4 defense. Allowing Linebackers to cover Bess or Bush out the backfield is the same thing as suicide. (interestingly one of the few teams tat would be well suited to run their bse Defense against our Offense would be OUR defense. With Dansby and Burnett we may be one of only teams who could pull it off sometimes).

So defenses will show a lot of nickel and dime packages. Which leads to fewer times of 8 or nine in box. which means far more running lanes than what we are seeing now and what we seen last season. All the worries about the oline and RBs then may seem silly when we are able to have only 4-5 rushing many times. I see Reggie really thriving in this system.

The one thing im a little worried about is that Defenses will surely blitz Henne often and force him to make quick decisions. If henne proves he truly is improved and capable of the hot reads and calling audibles at the Line this season. . .well the sky could be the limit for this offense.

I think it just might. . . I cant tell you one thing. . . Bill Belicheck is taking notice and he has to be worried with those Below average Coverage Linebackers and Questionable safetys. . . lol

Funny thing is i dont remember saying anything about Cook. . .

Anyways Wilfork and Fat Al will have trouble getting to henne if the ball is already 10 yards down the field in Bushs arms after burning on of New Englands Backers. . .
