Ok, maybe im starting to belive the hype, maybe im getting a little over excited.

But seriously have we ever had an offseason this good?

All things considered can any dolphin fan honestly not tell me, that this isn't the best offseason in recent memory?

I'm officially saying right now if we get Joey, I'm going out and buying my first dolphin Jersey since the Marino days, and i am leaning towards Channing Crowder, cause i think he's going to be a Stud.

To the rest of the NFL take notice you don't want to play this team, we are going to be sick.

So I'm asking all you Dolphin fans, prove me wrong, I know that we won't know how good this offseason is until they start playing but as of right now, as things stand, with all of our aquisitions , can you think of an offseason (not even inculding the upcoming draft) that was more fruitful than this one?

From coach acquisitions to players top to bottom, prove me wrong!

Remember the last ditch effort by Shula with Eric Green and the lot? That offseason had great promise. Too bad the reality of the season ruined it!!

It's the best I can remember. That offseason before the 95 season was a redskins type freeagent free for all. We signed every worhtless former first rounder available and got burned when they didn't mesh. If Daunte turns out to be a stud for us for the next couple years, I would say this is the best offseason ever. It was great when we got ricky, but the jury is still out on him. Plus that was a Wanny offseason and I will never give him credit for anything, except being a tool. I support him on that.

Best offseason ever!!

I would have to say the best offseason was last year. We got Nick Saban, Kevin Carter, Ronnie Brown, brought back Ricky, Channing Crowder, Travis Daniels, and Truck Traylor. All of that translated into a net +5 wins. Anytime you win five games more than the season before, thats a damn good offseason.

if we get arrington also no doubt best offseason ever. Culpepper is pretty much the biggest player you can sign, aside from peyton manning. and the fact that we got him so cheap....unbelievable. lj shelton-good pickup. will allen good pickup. beasley - amazing pickup that people havent been really talking about. premier fullback, going to make ronnie and dauntes life that much easier. imagine ricky with a pro bowl fullbak

There is still a lot of if's. "Pep" still has to prove he's gonna be his oldself. Harrington has to prove he's worthy of being in the NFL.....D'backfield is still shaky.....o'line is still shaky.....I was once told you want to build
your team through. the middle of the field positions....might still need to work that. If this all does pan out.....LOOK OUT!

This has been our best offseason since the hiring of Don Shula. However, a great offseason doesn't always translate into a great season. So here's hoping 2006 is our best season since 1972!!!! GO Fins!!!

I just want it to be August already so I can be full, drunk, toasted, and walking into the stadium with a brewski in my hand.

Last year was really good, but we got our FRANCHISE QB for a 2nd round pick! That is what pushes this offseason over the top.

By far and away the best I remember. The only dark cloud right now is Ricky, but if he gets cleared, we sign Lavar, Holmes or Jackson drop to the 16th spot and Philadelphia is forced to give us back a 2nd rounder for raping us on the Feeley deal this off season would have been PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!

To start with, one of the best offseasons I remember and I'm only 21. All those days of going through crap draft after crap draft with wanny and j.j. ...ugh :shakeno:. But I agree the DB's are still a little weak but disagree that the o-line is shaky. Yes it can be improved but stats show we had the 4th best o-line in the league last year with only 26 sacks given up. That's pretty good with the people we don't have and now add LJ Shelton into the mix, only makes it better. We'll get to #2 probably because no o-line is as good as Indy's is.
