was the emergence of Chris Chambers. I was wondering whether any of his success from last season would carry over, and all questions were answered last night. I might be wrong but I don't recall him dropping a single pass. In fact, I remember a drop that Booker had that the announcer said it was Chambers. The guy had an amazing game. He showed every critical skill that a receiver needs to have all in that one game. He showed toughness in waiting for Ronnie's lolly pop to come down before he got killed by the defender and held onto the ball. Daunte threw a pass so high I was sure it was going out of bounds and CC leaped and hauled it in. His sideline toe-tapping has become so routine that we take it for granted. He also showed good concentration on the TD reception after the ball got deflected. Even the first TD that got overturned was an amazing catch between two defenders. This guy is definitely playing with a swagger, and he's poised to put up even better numbers this year.

Agreed, but i get the feeling like DC will be getting the rock to everybody and not just CC, but that means that CC wont be covered very well alot of times. When you see Mcmike, Ronnie B, and Booker getting wide open on high percentage stuff, that spells nothing but good things for CC and the entire team. And CC was good at pointing that out last night as well on the sideline.

Chambers definitely had it going last night, he made some incredible catches, the guy caught everything! I hope this is the Chambers we`ll get for the regular season and not the receiver we`ve seen in the past, who makes the circus grabs, then drops the easy ones that hit him in the hands.

As good as he was last night, he did drop an easy one, was laid right in his hands, easy first down too. I think he concentrates better on the hard-to-catch-balls.
