Tannehill is do or die for this team. IYO, who is the pick he would want in the first round?

I have to think a big WR.

Brandon Scherff. But why make a pick based on ONE player. Should be the best player for your TEAM.

WR Kevin White
OT/OG Brandon Scherff
OT/OG La'el Collins
RB Melvin Gordon

Chain mover, Todd Gurley. We need a RB that can produce in short yardage situations which translates into more opportunities for #17 to get us into the endzone. Don't get me wrong I am a hug Canes fan and I like Miller but he is not the RB that is going to break tackle and go into some type of Beast Mode like a Lynch, Gurley can.

Chain mover, Todd Gurley.

Todd Gurley has an extensive injury history. Hip, ankle, elbow, blown out knee. In each year, his number of games played, number of carries, and rushing yards have DECLINED. That is a troubling trend.

We had little problem getting in the red zone last year but, did have trouble converting that into TD's, and we have to make up for Wallace's 10 TD's.

No doubt in my mind that RT would take a big red zone target. Can't imagine him wanting an OG or RB.

Multiple positions actually. OL bc he's gotten killed the last two seasons. WR because they still don't have a big redzone target. Running back? Only because the options available are quite good in this draft.

I think you could make the argument for guard, receiver, or rb, specifically Gurley

I'm leaning towards guard though, we need Tannehill to not get killed. But it doesn't change the fact I still would like a talented receiver

Offensive Line. Love so many of the receivers and linebackers going in round 2. I like Flowers but he scares me. I dont see a point to taking Scherff @ 14 when ****IF**** you have the option to move down and just take a guy like humphries or clemmings or something and grab another late 2nd.

Agree. I understand people wanting to duplicate the Lynch effect, or have visions of the second coming of Ricky Williams, but with Gurley's lack of durability, he's closer to Ronnie Brown or Knowshon Moreno in that he can't stay healthy. We have Miller on a carry count. If we draft Gurley, we have to keep them both on a count, as UG was already doing with Gurley.
