Best Quarterbacks of the Decades - Marino didn't make the list

your looking too much into it. The could only be one chosen it is base on opinion.
 
agreed, they are only picking one quarterback per decade, and they picked Montana with Marino as an honorable mention.
 
It's not really even a list. It's just one QB per decade and Marino makes honorable mention in two decades. So, I really don't have a problem with this 'list'.

kind of kills the whole debate between montana and marino doesn't it? i always hear "marino was good but how many rings does he have?" if thats the case we should take alot of hall of famers out of ohio cause "they don't have a ring..their not great" by that standard.

People say the same thing to me all the time. I tell them to put Montana on the Fins and take Marino and put him on the Niners. Then I tell them to tell me what they think.

Everyone nods... "Yeah, well..."

Marino is the greatest. (Little bias, maybe?:woot:)
 
Steve Young won 1 SB, 1 SB MVP and 2 League MVPs. All-Pro 4 times, 7 Pro Bowls.

Troy won 3 SBs and 1 SB MVP and zero League MVPs. All-Pro 1 times, 6 Pro Bowls.

That story is BS... I think I will print a bunch of copies of it out so that I could use it for toilet paper (I ran out of $9.00 C-Pep jerseys).

Dan Marino is better then Joe Montana and Steve Young, the reporter only cares about Super Bowls, which is a flawed argument. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl too, does that make him better then Dan "The Man" Marino too, hells no. :shakeno:
 
The problem I have is they are not consistant. If Montana is ahead of Dan b/c Joe has more rings, then how on earth do they put Peyton ahead of Brady?? Either the rings are the deciding factor or they aren't, and either way the list is not accurate.
