Best thing about the O-Line

I wouldn't consider Jeno a lock to start at this point either. Jeno has to improve his play from last season, or else he will get beat out by a player like Damion Cook. Nick mentioned Cook by name yesterday saying that he was a big ole guy that will contribute at guard.

Also, John St. Clair was the best lineman on the team last season. I don't know why some of you are so quick to replace him as a starter. And don't say that he can be moved to center. He was a good center in college, but for whatever reason, no pro coach has put him at that position. Now, I think there are some stupid coaches out there, but you would think that if this guy had All-Pro ability as a center, someone would have put him at that position.

i think that the o line will be better this year, and FYI KB21 St. Clair is the main reason y Kurt Warner got hurt in his last sesaon with St. Louis

I'm not sure why people are high on St.Clair. Just because Wanny praised him? Nobody on the line played well consistently. My big problem with St. Clair is that supposedly he insisted on staying at RT because HE didn't want to move around like at St. Louis. Well guess what - you do what's in the best interest of the TEAM. Carey couldn't get on the field at RT because of that. They could have moved St. Clair to RG or center and put Carey on the field. Of course if any of the coaches had half a brain they would have put him in anyways to give him some experience regardless of how it affected anyone else. It's not like if they were 3-13 instead of 4-12 it would have mattered. Carey is a 1st rd pick and should be a starter on thel line for years. Wise and Wanny were idiots! I'd expect Carey to be a starter and stud this year. I'm sure Houck and Saban will give him every chance possible to succeed.
