Best thing that could happen for this team:

Morons on tv keep saying we need to win out.. we dont, sadly, we just need to beat the jets at home to make the playoffs.. and sadly, we will win that game and make the playoffs, only to be embarrassed by the Bengals/Chiefs/Bills

Lose out. Miss the playoffs. Then there's no questions whatsoever that big changes need to be made. Boyer needs to go. Tua needs to go. Next year there are no excuses
I agree Boyer has to go.

But if Tua is gone, who will replace him? Whoever replaces him will be the excuse next year. You’ve already invested in the guy. Trading those picks for and paying chubb, imo, guaranteed Tua will your starter in 2023. He (Chubb) seems to be a bigger problem/investment than Tua.

It's hard to imagine us winning another game bro....

I think your wish is the reality. Funny thing, they don't have to try hard for that to happen. Jets D will dominate us as will NE

Totally agree but as BAD as Tua has been.. The patriots have lost in some of the most bizarre ways back-to-back weeks. Jets might be starting a Tebow-wannabe QB in Week 18 lol

What is the going rate on Tua, 45 mil area? Not a farking chance in hell we can do that. We do need someone who can play though. Bridgewater sucks as does Skyler

If we only beat the Jets we only have a 65% chance at the playoffs. We need to win both to guarantee the playoffs. As usual for us, it becomes desperate at the end and we start worrying about getting lucky with what other teams do.

Sorry, the Dolphins just need to beat the Jets AND the Bills just need to beat the Patriots (they're going to destroy them)
Even crazier, if the Dolphins beat the sorry ass Pats next week and the Seahawks beat the Jets, we clinch next week lol

I don’t think Tua is a QB other teams would pay 45M aav- I’m thinking someone could offer him 30ish, maybe. Problem is, teams want franchise QBs, not QBs that other teams have deemed unworthy of being a franchise QB. It’ll be interesting to see how this is handled.

5 weeks ago maybe, I see his value more around 30 million which puts you in the Goff/Wentz/Matt Ryan range.
