Our pick is worth 3000 points
We could trade with Dallas and get 3 firsts and a second (#22 (780 pts), #28 (660 pts), # 60 overall (300 pts), and Dallas #1 2009 (780) = 2520 pts
So we should agree that Dallas's value is good and they get to keep MBIII to trade for draft picks if they desire.

Then we trade our #22,#28 overalls (1440) and our late 2nd rounder to Cincinnati for #9 overall (1350 pts) and Chad Johnson.

Dallas gets their man (and gets value 2520<3000), Miami gets back in top ten plus a bonefide number 1 Wr and extra pick in 1st round next year and only gives up about 20 spots in the 2nd round. And Cinn. gets rid of their "prob child and picks up and extra 1st rounder they need and a 2nd.

Come on this works for everybody but i am sure Ill have my critics...
ready go!!!!!!!!1

How did you come up with the 780 point value for the 2009 1st rounder?

Cincinatti is going to have to take an $8 million cap hit if they trade C.J. I'm not so sure that they're willing to do that.

and rid themselves of CJ's 4million+ salary...the NET hit will only be about 4 million, which is manageable.

not condoning that we trade for T.O. Jr....but the cost to Cincinnatti isn't prohibitive.

I'm not for trading any picks so as far as getting CJ I'm against it we need to stick to the draft and AQUIRE picks......more picks.....lots of picks. As far as the lil TO comment I like CJ as a player and the only thing the 2 have in common is end zone celebrations. CJ is just a passionate football player who has fun playing the game. TO is a selfish man who isnt satisfied unless he's the center of attention, gettn a fat check, and doesnt have a gay (supposidly) teamate

Besides......the redskins or should i say daniel snyder.....is stupid enough to give away the world and then guarentee 50 mil for a player he'll decide he doesnt like the next year

I don't think the draft value chart is valid anymore because of how much money top picks are getting these days.

funny...I think you just described Chad Johnson this off-season. Openly requesting a trade to everywhere and anywhere in the hopes of getting more money is very TO'esque

We don't need that headache. Plenty of decent options out there to not sell the farm for. Yes, I think he would fall in line and play his guts out for Bill n the boys but, we have way more problems to address with the $ we have now. I would rather spend it in the QB position if we are going to make a big move. Stats dont lie. Teams do not win with out at least solid QB play.

Come on this works for everybody

Explain to me how this works for Dallas? You just had them made the worst deal in the history of the NFL Draft. They give up 4 picks - 3 of them 1st round picks - to draft a running back despite having Barber? Doesn't matter how high Jones is on McFadden, he would have to be high on coke, heroin and LSD too to even consider this deal. Then he would have to shoot down all the members of his staff before they could get a judge to sign a restraining order and then he would have to convince Roger Goodell that he was sane and not pulling a prank. I'd say that somewhere in between all that, there's a rather good chance someone will just slap him in the face and say stop acting like a fool, Jerry ;)

I'm not into CJ, but while this works in Madden, what if Tunaland really wants Matt Ryan ?? They've given no indication that they are sold on Beck, although they haven't given any indication that they're not...the problem is this is too good a trade for any of the teams to go for...

The biggest fact on that is the lack of spectacular QB from the NCAA. There's few expectation on 2008 class because there's no kid worth of the #1 tag.

Regardless of the whole CJ trade, etc. Just the part alone about Dallas trading away 2 firsts and a second, this year and then their first next year, just for the top pick in this year's good (but not great) draft. I would make that trade (if I were Mia) in a heartbeat. But what you are suggesting is probably a bigger lop-sided trade than the Herschel Walker deal of many years ago. And if I recall, Dallas was on the possitive side of that, not the negative. Why we all have a dream, this one's a little over-the-top

dallas wont give us that much for this pick. they wont give us equal value for that pick. i expect that we will lose out by about 700-1000 value points because the #1 overall pick is overrated because you have to consider how much you will have to pay the #1 overall pick. i will be happy with a #22, #28, #60 and a Player (spears-on trading block or barber)
