I know alot are thinking Daunte but he hasn't played yet. the other popular vote goes to I guess Ricky. He gave use 2 great years before the let down. but is that worth 2 #1 picks.
 
How about don Shula for a pick? How about Paul Warfield for a pick?

I think we have had some lot better "trades" in the past then these crappy ones
 
Feely for a 2nd. we got away with grand theft. should have given up a 1st in two drafts
 
DC for a 2nd round pick is a very good trade. As opposed to Feeley which was the worst trade in the history of the Dolphins. Best trade ever in the NFL? Has to be when JJ/Dallas ripped off the Vikes for 28 players/picks just for Herschel Walker, who did nothing as a Vike.

Hey movalli, how you doing. The one that sticks out in my mind would be sending M Lamb (CB) to SD, and getting HOF guard Larry Little in return.
 
How was Ricky worth 2 #1's when a)you never made the playoffs w/ him despite him being considered a final piece to a deep playoff run and b) he quit on you 2 years ago?

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! we got a 2nd for a qb that has 10 years left adn can win us a SB where as we got a RB who got only personal stats off the charts and didn't help us WIN a playoff berth and costed us WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more then something that COMES ONCE IN A DECADE --- FRANCHISE QB! with ricky we had no passing game we didn't konw how to balacne **** out.
 
I love Ricky, but 2 First Rounders was higway robbery on the part of the Saints. The 1,850 yard season was a blast, but we didn't make the playoffs. We rented Ricky for 2 years, then he quit. Now we may have rented him for 3/4 of a season only to lose him again. Even if he wins his appeal, he wasn't worth 2 First rounders.

Another boneheaded Wanny trade.
 
Football is a team sport. Ricky up till his retirement was a rock solid perfomer. Rushing title in 2002 with 1853 yards and a pro bowl to boot. In 2003 production off but 1372 yards is not that bad. I throughly enjoyed watching Ricky carry the ball. Ricky is not the reason Dolphins didn't make the playoffs....you can blame that on Dave Wanny.

Your right about that.I'm going old school with Larry Little,Ricky on;y been here 2 years out of 3 and we traded a 2nd for Feely and got one back from S.D. but I guess thats better then nada.
