Alright. We've all been paying attention to this offseason, looking for the slightest bit of hope for next year.

So, thus far, what has been the best pickup for the Phins via draft, trade, free agent signing, etc.?

Also, what has been the biggest loss?

OK. Thats pretty easy, Jake Long in particular and bolstering the line on both sides of the ball in general.

Biggest loss, on a 1-15 team I don't think we've had any.

The best move i think was trading for Ayodele and Fasano. Both i think are going to fit well into the system and we really didn't give up anything to get them.

WORST MOVE? thats easy.

not getting ANY talent at DB in the draft or f/a.

BEST MOVE? thats easy also.

hiring BILL PARCELLS to captain the ship!!

BIGGEST LOSS: lorenzo booker.

this was just bill cleaning out the cam stench, but i think
bill is going to realize his mistake by mid season. lorenzo
booker is a baller and his production this year for the eagles
is going to over shadow cams stench.

hey, mistakes. even BILL makes them!!

Best pickup: Jeff Ireland

Biggest Lost: Zach Thomas

Best move office aside is Jake Long/worst Chad Henne/ biggest loss ZT

The worst move was trading Lorenzo Booker for a fourth round pick. Not only is that under valuing him, but it's trading one of the few depth players we have at the same time. You cant do that trade when you dont know the status on Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams.

The Fins made a LOT of great moves. It's hard to pick just one. I mean it's all interconnected really. We needed a new coaching staff and we got a hell of an upgrade nearly across the board. I like Sparano's no nonsense, tough, straightforward aproach. I like Parcells' experience and tenacity. You cannot understate the importance of getting guys like Ireland and Company that KNOW HOW TO DRAFT! We've been missing that for way too long.

This excellent draft would not have been possible without a staff that has a definite and solid strategy going into it.

Jake Long was by far the best move in the draft, but the other picks were key acquisitions as well. Chad Henne (our starter within 2 years, IMO) was the QB they wanted from the start and they gambled and got him in the perfect spot for value, depth and competition for Beck.
Trading a 4th for 2 probable starters was a smooth move, and Fasano was originally a 2nd rounder, so it makes up for trading Booker to get the 4th rounder to use on them even though we spent a 3rd rounder on him last year. I have to say that is our "worst" move, but the coaches said he didn't have the size they wanted and didn't fit the system they want. I would have liked to seen them get better value for him, but I'm sure it's not easy to get everything you want in the middle of a draft.

The biggest loss, if not just for identity, was Zach Thomas. I know he is getting old, could be considered overpaid, and is undersized, but losing a leader and real football player like him is always a big loss. I hope he kicks *** in Dallas.

Great: Honestly, too many.

Worst: ZT

A lot of great moves this off season. But, IMHO the worst move is one we didn't make - not adding talent in the secondary.

by far the worst move was not adding a stud at DB.

the best was probably the jake long pick, followed very closely by the fasano/ayodele for our fourth trade.

I don't really agree with the booker comment. I don't look for him to do anything overly special at philly... why would he? as far as depth goes at RB... we have plenty.

also quite excited to see langford fit into the mix.

Actually, there's been a lot of good moves so far, it's hard to pick one.... Now that's hope.

If I had to pick a worst move, I would say, not addressing the secondary. I know you can't do everything in one offseason, but unless some guys back there really step it up, that could be a big weakness.

I agree our secondary needs a stud to make it great. I think we have depth, just not two quality starters. I would like to see will Allen as our second, but we would have to draft or trade for a #1. I hope if all the other guys pan out that we draft a corner with our #1 next year, assuming the right guy is there at the right time.

Booker should be a good fit in Philly. He seems like a generic clone of Brian Westbrook.
