7. Miami Dolphins [11] — Don't sleep on the Dolphins. They don't win pretty, and they actually have a losing record (3-4). But they've played a horrific schedule (.635) — Buffalo is their only opponent under .500, and the Dolphins won that game by four touchdowns. They've won three of their last four (scoring at least 30 points in each game), with the loss to New Orleans.

Excellent point about the schedule at .653 and clobbering the only subpar .500 team we played, the Bills.

20. New York Jets- Out-gained Miami 378-104, but if you add return yardage, the difference is only 538-422. Include net punting yards, and it's 773-719, virtually equal. Special teams are a crucial part of the game, and coaches ignore them at their own risk
The jest special teams aren't so "special" huh ?

heh

Those rankings seem . . . shaky at best. I mean, I think 20 is too low, but 7 is too high. I know that we could have easily beaten the Colts and the Saints, but we didn't. I've never heard of a sub-.500 team in the top ten of any power rankings.

We'll see after this week.

Well I think we're easily the best team with a losing record.

We've lost to the better teams in the league.. We blew out the one sub .500 team we've played and we squeaked out 2 wins against the Jets.. I dont think we've proven we are a top 10 team just yet, but we are in the upper half..

The only power rankings, etc., that I trust are those coming out of Vegas. Vegas has no bias whatsoever. Vegas is in business to make money and that's it.

7 is high, maybe 10. These are power rankings not standings, and 30+ points in 4 straight games against some good defenses is powerful. Losing to the Colts and Saints, yet playing them better than any other team so far, is powerful.
