Cowher has benched the 255 lb running back in favor of the younger and faster Amos Zereoue. this occured due to the teams performance in the pre-season....

it appears that the Bus needs a tune-up or its gonna go to the junkyard...

Not that it matters, I don't think Z man can go all season as a starter... just my thoughts...

That could be part of it... but really though, I just think that Z is a better fit for this Offense where the Bus strikes me as more of a short yardage back now, a battering ran to use maybe 5-10 times a game max.

I agree, I don't think he's as intregal part of the offense now, but later in the season, a healthy Bettis could do some damage when it matters.
