Big Ben's suspension reduced to 5 games, now eligible to play against the Dolphins

The Steelers as a whole looked like crap. Their first stringers got dominated on both sides of the ball by an injury depleted Broncos. I'm not worried about the Steelers at all.

I think it could benefit us, obviously I'd rather see a backup but our defense will be coming into midseason form while roethisberger will be cold.

Steelers definitely look like they've taken a step back. Defense looks strong as usual but the offense seems like a serious crutch.

I live in the DC area, I was listening today to the Mike Weiss (of the Washington Post) Show on 106.7- the Fan. It was a radio stunt. Mike has no inside information. Mike put that report on his twitter feed to see what "real" media outlet would pick it up without fact checking. Shockingly, it was Profootballtalk.com.

He wont be able to practice after next week untill the week before his 1st game. Hope his arm gets rusty.

what's with ruthlessbooger anyway? too proud to go to strip clubs and pay for it like the rest of the nfl?

Exactly, I would rather face Leftwich but Raplisburger is going to be rusty...He cant practice..He cant even be at the teams facitlity...

He will have alot of time to go to bars and party...Just what he wants!

if i were him i'd go to brett favre high school and toss it around. thats the place to be for nfl qb's that can't or won't practice. he could even threaten to retire. espn would be frothing at the mouth to get there.

True for Brett, but if you put that in the context of Michael Vick retiring, nobody would give a ****. That's about where Ben is with a lot of people, and many consider him worse.

Favre was fairly well-liked before he went on his annual retirement sojourn and injected his angst into every conversation he had about anything. Now the media is obsessed with what Favre does & doesn't do because he's more or less a train wreck waiting to happen. Even his Sears commercial parodying his indecision wasn't funny so much as it was true. Impact for the Great Brett Train Wreck is the money shot--who'd want to miss that?
