Let me preface this by saying I believe Adam Gase will do the right thing here meaning he's not going to risk Ryan for 2017 so that he can play Sunday. I think Ryan will only go if he's truly ready to play. With that being said you'd have to think if he's even LIMITED today there is a good chance. I wouldn't expect him to play if he's a DNP (rehab only), we'll see later on.

Ryan Tannehill will not practice Wednesday, per league source. No decision yet on Thursday.

no practice today? i have a really hard time seeing him start the game this week...

He's not playing imo. I'm fine with that thought. If we lose this week I believe it will be because of our defense and not because of MM

Ozzy rules!!

So apparently Adam Gase doesn't agree with my assessment (big surprise :)):

Gase told PIT media Tannehill needs at least one day of practice

Why do I get the feeling that Gase has zero confidence in winning this game without RT? He says he refuses to jeopardize his career yet he keeps pushing back the decision on him returning.

Should have placed him on Ir. Not sure why he's still active

It's called Gamesmanship.

And Gase has said Ryan is Day to Day since last week.

It's the media that is taking that as "omg omg omg he hasn't ruled him out he's going to play".

He might play, but there has been absolutely nothing that Adam Gase has said to suggest Ryan would ever be cleared to play on Sunday. He said from day 1 . . . Ryan can clear himself, the doctors can clear him . . . he will not step on the field unless he clears him.

If he needs more time to make the right decision, i'm good with that. I was hoping to know something today too.

It is all gamesmanship like Kdawg said. Make no mistake Tannehill is not going to play on Sunday

I don't buy any one day of practice stuff

I think it's done

backup qb and worst lb corp in football just about here we come Pittsburgh

Will Gase "clear him" after only seeing him in one practice as he just told the media. Playing games with a guy that has no shot at playing isn't prudent. That means he shouldn't be out there doing resistance stuff, etc. He could get re hurt just as easily doing that junk if the knee isn't stable. Seems like he is taking this gamemanship too far.
