Assuming we get a small improvement if McKinnie goes to left tackle and Martin to right, how would you approach the offseason at LT? I would go after a Clay or Albert, let Clabo go, and see who is the better RT in Martin or McKinnie. Also we have to get better at the guards spot. seems like a forever problem with us.

I thought you were going to post how many Big Macs you ate in one sitting lol (my record is 5 Big Macs with 5 large fries and a liter o' cola lol).

This line will not look the same next season. Clabo is gone, Jerry is gone, Incog might be gone. You keep two players Martin and Pouncey. McKinnie maybe if he plays well but if he plays like he did in Baltimore he is gone too. You are better off drafting some help along the line and picking up another free agent.

That's why I say Richie might be gone, it is foolish to think you can address 3 of the 5 starters along the line in one season, maybe you mover Martin and that fixes one position, keep Incog and Pouncey and go after a tackle and guard.

At the least we need a LT and G plus depth brought in in 2014.

I don't think Mac has ever played RT ... EVER. At 32, I don't he wants to go there. Our best course of action is 2 new G's and at least 1 new T IMHO .... and Clabo should already be gone. I'll be shocked if he survives the season.

McKinnie is a 10 game quick fix to keep Tannehill alive....

You will need at least three lineman next season...

If your talking about McKinney he's aLT

I had to edit .... I meant RT

Unless Richie's demands for his new contract become ridiculous, he has to be allowed to come back, it's not just getting better, it's also continuing the chemistry of the O-line, they need to work as unit to be successful, and if you keep changing the line every year, the line will never be in sync.

You're not going to get Clady...he'll be re-signed or tagged. Albert could be on the market but he'll cost more than Long would have cost us...if you don't think every agent that has a OT on their client list isn't going to try and drive the price up on us because they know we're desperate then they're just not doing their jobs.

You address it in the draft. A 4 year approx. $7.5 million dollar contract is a heck of a lot cheaper than a 4 year $40-$45 million dollar contract for a veteran. Use the cap money to re-sign Starks and/or Soliai at DT, Incognito at Guard and find a veteran Guard to sign (which comes much cheaper than a tackle).

wonder how much grimes is going to cost. i hope Miami can keep him. maybe tag grimes? or is there another player we need to tag?

Albert and Clady wont hit the market. I'm fine with drafting 5 OL in April. Pouncey is the only one worth starting and Martin should be a backup.

Can they tag Albert again? He was tagged once.

They can tag him a second time but it gets expensive. I think they re-sign him because their #1 overall draft pick Eric Fisher has been struggling at RT. Albert has been playing very well this year too, maybe even the top LT. I don't know what the KC cap situation is like, but I think they have to try and sign him long term.

So, it appears most want yet another complete shuffling of a unit that requires more experience together than probably any other unit on the team. Hey, it's worked every other year for the past decade, so why not try, try again? And 5 rookie OL? Yeah, that will work out great. I'd be looking forward to the calls for yet more OL draft picks and FA signings next year when that doesn't work either. Not to mention the fact that it wouldn't do much to improve a mediocre offense.

Cool, lets do nothing about our OL because changing personnel on the worst OL in the league might make us the worst OL in the league. Makes sense.

Well considering him, Jon Asamoah, and Tyson Jackson to try and resign...I'm hoping one of the lineman (Albert and Asamoah) decides to test FA.
