I heard it on WQAM during their updates..Big O reporting that Alonzo Mayes and Letheridge have been cut....

There would have to be.

Unless Mayes still qualifies for waivers and then he would have to clear waivers and come back to us which we'd have to put him on IR or reach an injury settlement.

An injured player can be waived and if someone claims him they get him, but if he isn't claimed he must be placed on IR or have an injury settlement so we may not have heard the last from him.
