No Wake either and he dominated at times in that game. Played exactly like we paid him to do. Too bad the refs absolutely screwed him that game. I was guilty of getting on him but with the coaching issues early in the year, it was hard to watch him not give it his all on the field. Just could be sickening to see Suh play like that and we waste his talents in south beach because we can't get a good roster on the field.

Those refs need to be reprimanded or at least the back field judge on the plays involving Suh and taylor and the egregious hold on the watkins td.

Such is the life of a dolphins fan.

man I just looked at this guy's salary next year. $25M against the cap. Is anyone worth that?

I was never a fan of him coming here at the expense of the rest of the roster. His salary unless it can be renegotiated will destroy the dolphins for years to come when you need 3 more linebackers, safety and potentially 2 corners. That is just the defensive side of the ball. Whole entire line needs revamped outside of pouncey.

He should have had another sack yesterday when the ref should have called "in the grasp" and was held on most plays. Someone else on the D line needs to step up and they haven't.

I think it's time to start Phillips over Mitchell.

I agree with Phillips. I will say Suh should have had 3 sacks or 2 at minimum. He would have been all over Taylor on the Watson Td if the lineman didn't freaking pull suh's jersey up over his helmet on a egregious hold.

While at lunch moments ago, I just saw the replay where Suh got flagged before the TD pass to Watkins. It was not a penalty IMO.

Richie did hold Suh on the aforementioned pass.

Props to NS for trying to light a fire under the team.

It could be haunting for sure. And to top it off, we have not seen the desired production.

Suh was a beast on Sunday.

My biggest concern for Suh is as the losses continue to mount ( I see phins winning 5 games this year) will he keep it together and keep playing hard or will he start to let his emotions get the best of him and either randy moss it at times or get frustrated and stomp someone again?

Suh is a great player just not worth the contract that a team like the Dolphins paid him. If the team was one DT away from a championship then fine but this team has too many other holes to be spending so much of the cap on one player even if he is a great one.

I posted that earlier. It actually gives hope that maybe we shouldn't rebuild because we do have some pieces

On offense I think they have a lot of talent. Just need a couple more starters on the O-line and better depth. May need another TE if they can't restructure Cameron's contract. Also if they can't resign Miller they will need another RB.

On Defense other than Suh, Jones and to an extent Jenkins the cupboard is pretty bare. Jordan Phillips has the talent to develop into a dominant player next to Suh. Mitchell while not a great player is decent depth at DT. Shelby & Fede are not starters IMO but are quality depth at DE. Misi is ok but eventually it would be nice to have a better player at that position. The team has no MLB, and at this point no starting CBs. I don't believe the team will keep Grimes at his current contract. Bobby McCain could be a decent slot corner and Zack Bowman is ok depth. Jamar Taylor has been a huge disappointment. Brice McCain will be gone. The team does not have a starting Free Safety on the roster. Michael Thomas is a great special teams player and good depth but he is a liability as a starting FS. Aikens does not belong in the NFL. Also they need 2 starters at DE.

So while the team does have some quality pieces to build around they still have a lot of holes especially on defense. So while a complete rebuild is probably not necessary they will need a few years of good drafting to build on what they have into a playoff caliber team.
