If you look at this game - as bad as it was at times Miami was up with 6 min left and had Pitt backed up on their 12 yd line. But Pitt has 3 big time guys on D - Hampton took away the run game all night. Porter is a menace rushing from the outside. He made Taylor look like a rook in comparison. I like JT but he was almost zero impact. Porter made the big play when it was needed - he is a big mouth but I have to give him credit for stepping up for his team - where was JT ALL NIGHT? Troy hair bag continues to dominate on D - he stepped up when they needed it - who on D for Miami did that? Zach? Crowder? Spragan? Where they even there for a couple of those drives? Our big guns on D did not make big plays. W Allen made 1 even though the ball fell into his lap but other than that no game turning plays on D. C'mon these are big time paid guys. JT where the hell were you??
Are Saban and Co. happy they sat on their butts from April instead of signing J Allen early. Could we have used a ball hawking safety in this game? Good thing we held ground and signed him for 6 years instead of 5 because year 1 may be a waste.
