I bet Faulk stays because they don't believe they have a viable bach-up to run their system. Canidate has really dissapointed them since he was drafted, sure he showed he has a bit of big play potential, but as an inside the tackles runner, he gives you VERY little.
Rookie Lamar Gordon has potential, but nobody thinks he will ever make an impact like Faulk.
I bet he signs a big long term deal with the Rams that has some out clauses after 3 or 4 years.

Not neccessarily, but it will be tough to keep them all. It depends on a lot of things really. They'd need to pick up Pace's optiion, but they might be able to restructure him. Holt or Wistrom will be franchised and the other may be transitioned.
They are in great cap shape right now and seem to have good cap management going on, so even tho it is a bit of a long shot, it wouldn't shock me to see all of them return.

They have been looking at him for 2 years just about everyday and you have seen him on TV maybe 2 or 3 times, BIG difference. When you saw him on TV who did you see him play against? The Jets and there 30th ranked run D?
He needs to improve his inside running to be effective. If the game was all speed, John Avery would still be our "STAR" RB...
