We have the home field. We are playing well. Gronk is out. But the matchup of our ability to finish and NE being so tough to put down - even when they look like you have them - has me concerned. The lateral play at the end of the game yesterday is just a prime example of how hard we make it when we win (or lose the close ones). Cleveland took their foot off the gas with a 12 point lead and got burned for two TDs in the last 1:03 of the game. NE has done this to teams all year. It's this part of the matchup - which has nothing to do with X's and O's and more to do with mental framework of these teams - that I'm worried about. I believe if we win, we will win out and make the playoffs as the Ravens are going to lose 1 of their last 3. I guess what I'm saying is as fine a job as Philbin is doing right now, he's not coaching this team as "complete" as Belicheat does. So what's they key to putting these guys down and keeping them down for 60 minutes?
