Last saturday My mother passed after a long illness.. She was a huge Dolphin fan and a incredible strong and amazing brave in the face of such a terrible sickness.I am happy now she is at peace and wiating patiently for her team to get back to the big Dance as she liked to call it. .. At the Tender age of ten when i became a fan of this team ... my mother instantly tok notice and joined me in my passion. She was so funny to watch as she learned the game and asked questions and occasionally rooted for the wrong team (mom"GO GO GO !...me "mom that is not our team with the ball...mom ...STOP STOP GET HIM!..lol it was hilarious .. at the age of 50+years my mother and my wife went to get a tatto... My mother got a dolphins moiniker on her shoulder !..lol I will remember all the good times we had rooting and screaming for our team and how much she vevealed in being a "true " fan.I think she would have wanted others here to know about her .. I talked about the board and how much fun it was... I would ask anyone out there to take the time to let the loved ones around you,who we think we have so much time with, KNOW that you care.Sometimes we dont have the time we think. Heres to a GREAT mom and a TRUE fan.

My condolences as well badfoot, I lost my mother when I was 18, so I know how it feels...she sounded like a great woman btw...

im real sorry to hear that buddy. best wishes to her and your family through this heart ache. lets win it for her dolphins in 06' at home!

My prayers are with you man. :boohoo::(

I am sorry dude. She is at peace now and when we do make it to the dance, you can know full well that she has the best seats in the house

God bless you and your family badfoot.
I to have a mother who since I was a kid always rooted for my team even in the 4th Quarter when I knew there was no chance of winning she would still root for them to come back.
Thank you for your words of wisdom.

I am with you man. I me and my brother(lazereth) lost our mother two weeks ago. I know what you are feeling. Take heart in the fact that she is healthy where she is now, and will be rooting right there with you this season.
Best wishes to your family during a trying time. Add this to your av http://astridge.finheaven.com/mem.jpg

my prayers go out to you and your family, sounded like a great mother and im sure she and you will all be pleased when we win it this year at our house in SB 41!!

Your mom sounds like she was an incredible woman, supportive and fun to be around. I can't imagine what it's like to lose someone so close to you, but I do know that you were lucky to have a mother who not only loved you, but loved a team that plays a big role in your life. My condolenses, I hope God helps you through these hard times.

It's terrible to hear of your loss. But find peace that she is with God now and no pain can harm her. I am more than sure that every game will be televised in heaven and she will be with us cheering for our team. My family sends all of our prayers and deepest condolences to you and yours buddy.

The Rainey Family.
