Seriously, Joey Harrington was labeled a bust in Detroit, whether it be his own fault or not, and now he's getting more recognition than ever. Tomorrow is critical in finding out what Joey Harrington is all about. If he plays well and the fins win he could becaome a media darling very easily. More importantly we will know he is capable of winning big/important games. If he plays poorly, and the fins lose, there will be a large, "I told you so" type of an attitude in the air. That will not be fun. I'm hoping he turned the corner and will play very well tomorrow....GO FINS!!!

Interesting theory. But I think you an I both know people will still be bad mouthing Joey even if we do win. They'll say it was the defense, or the running game, or something else. The only way Joey is gonna get his props is if the Phins make the playoffs and Joey wins a game or two in them. But you are right, if he loses let the bashers on Finheaven have a field day tommorow nite.

Not just the bashers on Finheaven, the bashers everywhere. Seriously, Harrington has never played in an NFL game as meaningful as this one, and this one is not that meaningful, in the grand scheme of things.

And if it seems a little outlandish, I'm about a six pack deep right now.

Meaningful for the fins to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, but it's not a playoff game or anything. I'll seriously be estatic if we win tomorrow. I'll be zeroing in on that Pats game.

i have some doubts about his quarterbacking but i'am rootin for him!!

i think detroit was a very meaningful game, even if only to him. he shrugged a giant monkey off his back that game, and did it well.

Everyone bad mouth someone on thsese boards.

I for one just want to see Joey help us win. Let people say what ever they want. Remember - If we win we win as a TEAM.

I wouldn't say the biggest game of his career. That is a bit much. It is the biggest game of this season so far though. Miami needs to win to stay alive in the wild card race.

I think Joey is going to need to hit that deep ball tomorrow. He hasn't hit it all season. Miami will need a couple BIG plays on offense to win. The Jags defense will play really good all game. But they will mess up a few times. And that is when Miami will need to make the BIG plays. I have a feeling those opportunities will be game deciding. Joey can't miss Chambers on the deep ball tomorrow. He can't let those few BIG oppotunities slip away because there will only be a few of them. I really hope they finally hook up for a long one.

GO PHINS!!!

I agree, and I think he might have conquered some inner demons in that game, so I'm real curious if that win has any affect on his game.

But I think he's been approaching every game as such a big game that it would be difficult to think of this one any bigger. He hasn't got enough credibility built up yet to even toss an INT in a winning game without lots of people harping about it. Considering the tenuous thread his entire NFL career was hanging on going into this season. I think that's a recipe for a ton of pressure to perform every single game.

My sense though is that he's been trying his best to keep it fun, and as long as he keeps that up, he'll do fine.

Nope. Joey will get praised when he performs well. Like he did against Detroit. Like he noticeably has not in the other games he's played in this season.

Detroit was Joey's biggest game. I think the Jax game outshines it team wise. This Jax team has a great D and can move the ball on O. The whole team together is gonna have to win this 1. If we win this one I think we can win out except for Indie. But hopefully they'll be sitting a bunch of players. We win this game, we force pretty much every team from there out to play us hard. This is a pivotal game for us.

Any way I'm off to bed, everybody have a great Dolphin Day.

We also need to remember that we've had 10 days to prepare for this game. It's almost like a by week, and we know what happaned in our last game after a bye week. Saban and the other coaches should have a game plan for Joey to Help him out by then.
