Biggest Mistake of 2011-Marc Columbo?

Do you agree? If so, who deserves the largest share of the blame? Ireland for signing him or Tony for continually playing him?
 
From what i understand, Ireland brought him in as a back up RT for the vet minimum. Sparano during his frequent line shuffling inserted Columbo in the starting lineup after he was acquired. If thats the case, Sparano gets the bulk of the blame. Colombo might be the worst lineman in the NFL but if hes only brought in to be a backup for the min than its not a monumental blunder. If Ireland brought him in knowing he was going to be the starter than that was a huge f up from Ireland and he deserves all the blame
 
Columbo was a pure Sparano move. OL genuis my arse....
 
So many mistakes. Hard to pick the biggest one.
 
Biggest mistake of 2011 . not firing Sparano and giving him an extension
 
Personally, I would've kept Carey at RT but hey....

This decision has a vague yet decisive meatball aroma.

I still would like to know why Garner wasn't starting? I had read that he was the best OL on the team not named Pouncey or Long.

2012 3rd round Miami picks Kevin Zeitler, OG, Wisconsin

2012 Phins OL... Long, Jerry, Pouncey, Zeitler, Garner... I've done what Tony couldn't and it took me all of 37 seconds.
 
10.5 sacks allowed. The bottom 10% of this league isn't even that bad. Combined with Fasano struggling to help him in terms of blocking as well, the right side of our line was absolutely doomed.

Well the oline as a whole gave up 52 so hell thats like 10 a piece so maybe thats not as horrible as it seems
 
You can place 100% of the370 blame oney Adolf Ireland! He is the Dolphins Dictator nothing happens without his approval!

Bad thing about MC is that when 1 piece fails it brings down the whole unit. MC consistanly wiffed on his dude causing disruption throughout the line as well as an early QB step up into the pocket putting undo pressure on the guards.
 
Columbo is a pretty big one, retaining Sparano is probably the biggest. Sandwiched right in between those 2 IMO is Tony's not allowing for a legitimate QB competition in TC. "Best Move" goes to Ross for kiboshing the Orton trade.
 
I would have to say not starting Moore from the beginning of the season was the biggest mistake. We very well might have been in the playoffs had we done that. I doubt not having Columbo or Sparano could have got us in the playoffs

If you think columbo is the only reason that we had 52 sacks was then I have a bridge to sell you in miami
