With the #9 overall pick, you obviously take the best player available. But after that, you're definitely looking to fill needs. That's not to say you take a guy early in the 2nd round who would have been there late in the 2nd, but if you need a CB and there's a highly-rated CB available when you pick, you're gonna take that CB before a RB who is just as highly-rated.

So, with that in mind. What are the Fins biggest needs heading into this year's draft? Once we have consensus, it will be a little easier to put together a mock draft.

In a perfect world we could somehow find a way to draft a solid left tackle like staley or brown although some have lost faith in brown.

than I am looking at a guard like grubbs if he is there with our 2A or ramirez late in the second our with our third.

Although, I hate the thought of passing up on landry because he is the closest thing to a sure thing we are going to have available at nine.

I voted LT for the record.

how many days til the draft???

I think QB, LT, CB, and WR are our big needs, in order. But as for QB, if it isn't an elite QB like Quinn or Russell, then it's better to focus on the other areas like LT, CB, and WR as you're likely to get a better instant value from those places than taking a gamble on a very raw QB who will need much more time to groom.
