Everyone around him has been saying that he was dying to coach again. The reason why he did the media stuff was to rebuild his image but the reality is no team in the NFL wants to hire him and he was likely going to get no interviews. College was his only option.

IMO, hes not gonna do great in college if he coaches with the same energy he did in the NFL.

Hes trying to coach the most spoiled, entitled, ignorant, sensitive and disrespectful generation that's ever step foot on Earth. He's gonna have them all crying into their orange slices at half time.

Good luck Bill.... your gonna need it.

All you needed to do was to read the published results of the "deflate-gate" investigation. Clearly you didn't do that.

You can continue to fool yourself all you want - there is no law against being stupid.
On the other hand - Just remember "Ignorance of the law is no excuse".

That sounds like a great 1st step in rehabilitating a college football program. - LOL
 
As a UNC alum and MD fan I’m obviously torn. I do think he will kill it in Chapel Hill. They just went from 5M to 20M in NIL $$$ and he’s bringing in Lombardi as him GM. They will be light years ahead of the ACC.
 
It’s a solid move. He’s already proven as an nfl coach. Now he has a new challenge. Deion has proved that you don’t have to go to a traditional power school. Bill will be the best coach in the country by a mile. I expect them to compete for a title in 2 years

I'm not sure how relevant the ACC was trying to be, considering they were the ACCs most exciting team but in every ACC game I watched the refs were pretty biased against Miami (note: Miami missed the CFP because awful defensive coaching left an overmatched freshman CB out to be eaten alive in man coverage wuth no help play after play).

How are baby boomers going to be playing football at UNC?
 
Bill will be a great college coach too. He loves to teach and the kids will run through a brick walk for him.

At his age, it won’t be long term but it’ll be interesting the players he pulls through the portal.
 
I don’t get why some people are angry about this
Never hated the guy, was a good coach, and I’m glad he didn’t break Shula’s record.
Not too mention he was able to haul himself a nice young piece of ass
