Bill Sheridan assesses his Miami Dolphins linebackers

one thing we get out of this is that we have quick, athletic guys.
Also seems to me that Edds is having the toughest time so far.

That's how I read it as well. Not so much that he's struggling, but that maybe he's a little further behind because he's still thinking so much. Once he gets comfortable, and understands his role as an ILB, I think he'll be a great situational 'backer.

I'm excited about the upgrade in athleticism, quickness, and youth in our linebacking core. Next season, we might have to find that exceptional pass rusher if Wake doesn't prove to be able to handle a larger role this year. The SOLB was far more pressing this season, and we might have found that all-around guy in Misi. If Wake doesn't take a step forward this year, you can always get a Jerry Hughes type next year, and use Wake as that pass rush specialist.

The LB'er position is, along with the secondary, the position we need to see the most development if we hope to return to the playoffs and beyond.

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:...Simply Hilarious....Parrothead strikes again....

Dobbins & Dansby sounds like a 19th century British haberdashery.

"Welcome to Dobbins & Dansby. How can we help you? Buttons, draperies, ribbon, lutes, scimitars and wrist watches, we've got it all at a guaranteed lower price than Felix & Fitzsimmons across the way."

I thought this was interesting concerning Wake...

We’re just trying to make sure he gets well-rounded and can play on every down and be a quality run stopper and a quality — or at least an adequate — guy in coverage.

He backed off on the praise... Kinda sounds like he doesn't have high hopes for him in that regard... Hmmm.

I have no doubts that Wake will step his game up. He seems like a very hard worker.
