Not saying we deserve it but the fact that all of those other 7-5 teams & the Bengals (hard schedule) losing is good for us. I haven't done the math but I imagine we still have a chance & something to play for.

Biggest concerns for me is our OL & DB depth especially with Delmas now out but hopefully they have something left to get us a winning season.

There is the moral victory thread I was waiting for. Bang. 9-7 and sitting at home watching other teams in the playoffs again. Gotta love it.
 
It's all hindsight at this point because we need a miracle but the Bengals losing was very bad for us.
 
Oh....I'm sure we still have a shot. We will have to beat a Pats team in New England next week which will not be easy.....but anything is possible. Need a lot of improvement by next Sunday though....
 
But the Steelers and Ravens won. So it spits us out of the picture. Maybe someone can nail down where we stand. Of course I thinkit helps us if NE wins tonight.
 
I'm just going to focus on rooting against NE from here on out since my own team will be at home for the New Year....yet again.

I am a fan, but like many others on this board, I am pissed at the state of the team, from the front office, to the coaching staff, to the players. I have every right to vent. Sorry if that bothers you. How does Philbin's thumb taste, BTW?

What bothers me is the fact that you feel to make the same stupid statement in every single thread.
 
interesting........did the ravens lose too, cause that wouldve helped
 
Miami isn't making the playoffs now. Baltimore has Jacksonville next week so they're guaranteed to have 9 wins minimum. NE isn't losing next week and even if Miami beats MIN and the Jets they'd still only be 9-7.
