***Bills/Fins Post Game***

We're almost going to be forced to take DT in rd1.
I agree. DT / DE / LB / CB / S are all legitimate items of need in the offseason. I hope they keep Sieler and Phillips. Brooks and Fuller have shown enough to keep. The rest can kick rocks at this point.

I would go so far as to say OL is one of the few areas we could wait until later in the draft on / fill with free agency.

Hip Hip Horaay for the offense finally scoring a few points
YAAAAAAY

They are inconsistent like the rest of this **** show team

Glad you feel good about losing and silver linings

Bunch of ****ing douchebags in Miami
neil degrasse tyson we got a badass over here GIF

**** Tua
So he has a couple of good games sporadically we’re comparing to what we haven’t had since Marino?????

Not good enough
He should pack his bags when McD finally gets fired because Tua will never win anywhere
He’s the one who should be on his couch eating a bowl of chips because he’s just wasting everyone’s time at this point
I gotta say, it's pretty entertaining while catching up on this thread to see this guy get more and more angry and unhinged with each post.

Defense has played games earlier this season where they played well enough to get a win, but the offense didn't hold up its end. These past two weeks I would say the offense was more than good enough, but the defense came up short.
I'm beginning to think those were fraudulent 'good games' by the defense. Other teams running simple offenses bc they knew we couldn't score.

Can you do simple math, how does a 13 yard penalty and a 5 yard penalty add up to 23 yards, am I arguing with a monkey? Are you on drugs? Is your entire argument based on fake stats? Are you misremembering again or have no reading comprehension? I said two penalties don't add up to 20, you make up 23 yards. STOP DRINKING.

We are very thin at OL depth. I am surprised this group has blocked well enough for an outstanding rushing attack the last 3 weeks. I was ready to sh*tcan all of them except for Brewer and Armstead. They are starting to jell together. They just need to get tougher on 3rd and 1's.

Having said that, yes DL is definitely a priority in the offseason and we still need a couple more good OL guys in the draft. Would be nice to hit on one in the later rounds! (Oops, I forgot we will still have Grier doing the shopping!)

Do recall what the Dolphins team looked like down the stretch last season? Three out of five starters on the offensive line out, Waddle and Hill banged up, Mostert out, four DEs out, Holland and Howard out. What would any starting quarterback’s record look like under those circumstances? This season, the Dolphins are 1-3 in games Tua has started and in those games he’s played more than well enough to win all of those games except the first Buffalo game. This team’s problems have nothing to do with Tua. Guys like you deserve to be stuck watching Skylar Thompson play QB for the rest of eternity.

I haven’t read the entire thread.

Are people putting this on Tua? I don’t see how.

Maybe- MAYBE- the lob to Tyreek could have been 6 if thrown well. At least, that was according to the announcers because I could’ve sworn I saw the safety closing in over the top.

Other than that, Tua did his job & did It well.

Look, this team is soft. When push comes to shove they get pushed & shoved.

As well as we played today, we are not good enough to overcome turnovers & Mostert’s fumble was the change in the game. While he could’ve had both hands on the ball in traffic, IT WAS A GREAT PLAY BY THE DEFENDER. Hell, the SAYING is punch the ball out of there but this guy LITERALLY FIST-PUNCHED the ball. Wata yah gonna do?

And tackling… is there a stat somewhere out there that shows yards after first contact in the NFL? I’d wager a testicle that the Miami Dolphins lead the league in yards given up after first contact.

These guys are not winners & it goes far beyond stats.

In the 2 point conversion, you could feel the icy cold chill in the air of the certainty that Buffalo was going to convert.

When Josh Allen escapes on that 13 yard (or w/e it was) scramble on 3rd down to move the sticks, the moment he got by the DLine you just KNEW no one was going to stop him short of the first. You didn’t know, know but you knew (if that makes any sense).

That’s what this team’s character is: we will play you competitively until it’s time to get the first down to keep momentum, make the stop to end the winning drive, not make the mistake to cost you the game.

To relate it to baseball, we will work the pitcher to a full count. We will foul a good share at the full to work that pitcher’s arm more than what he would like. But we ALWAYS, ALWAYS strike out in the end.

We are missing the winner’s chromosome & it’s so evident that when the down/situation is a “must have”, the atmosphere is palpable with impending failure way before the ball is ever snapped.

Poyer should be released. He lost the game by needlessly being undisciplined. Send a message to the rest of the roster. This is an NFL roster and there are consequences. He could have made the same play without a penalty. Cost them the field goal. Can’t be tolerated.

A valiant effort

Cam Smith sucks

Why was David Long out???
Long has a hip or something but he’s been really struggling with run fits and coverage. One of the worst scores by PFF. Linebacker is a huge issue. Allen really went after them and the safeties in space. A guy like Ogbah on the edge was solid but he is not adding speed.

But our LB are really struggling.

AVG is sorely missed. Home grown stud who wanted to stay.

This was just one of those games that you just can't win because it doesn't follow the red thread of fate.

Unluckily, had on of those as the worst times ever for our season.
