Stop it. Tua rating: 124.1. Allen rating: 95.6. Also, Allen had a 63 yard TD on a screen pass where none of our defenders wanted to tackle the RB.

It hilarious you would even question a YAC TD when that's what Tua benefits from the most, YAC. Dink and dunks/check downs. And I'll take the win over a meaningless rating. Which by the way Josh has averaged nearly 30 more points in rating than Tua this year.

Tua didn’t do anything to win this game, outside of one solid drive at the right time. But that’s to be expected. He isn’t a game changer and sure as heck didn’t do anything to lose it. But he’s a good point guard and one play away from missing tons of games every year. Miami sure is in a pickle if they don’t start winning now or let it ride and win next year.

Every player in the NFL is 1 play away from missing games. Is there a player out there whose ACL wont tear because technically he was 3 games away from tearing it?

There's way more important things to QB play than chucking the ball 70 yards under pressure.

For the record, I don't think any QB in the league makes the end zone from there, because it isn't just a 70 yard throw- the QB has to be behind the LOS and the ball theoretically should reach the end zone. I'm sure everyone has seen the Jayden Daniels hail mary but didn't see the play where they got themselves from the 30 to around the 50- because doing hail mary from the 30 is impossible.

The tieing TD to Waddle was a great play, if Allen did that people would be jumping all over it. He had 3 missed passes all game 1 of those a throw away. No criticism should be at Tua's door today

You're on something not only was that not a phantom call at all it was an 11 yard penalty. He did enough to win and this is considered a GREAT game for tua but just the standard for Allen, you're only the person here that would blame the Refs for us losing to them once again. And even for an average game from Josh he still threw for more yards and TDs than Tua. He owns us and Tua plain and simple.

Not to mention, like half of Allen's yards and a TD came on one screen pass.

I'll say this ...

The offensive line played great.

Tua is as valuable to this team as any player in the NFL is to their team other than guys named Mahomes or Allen. There are other players that are better, but he means more to this team.

The Dolphins just don't have enough good players. They don't have enough clutch players and poised players and they find ways to lose where an average team would win half the time and a good team wins when they shouldn't. Some guys just find ways to win or make the people around them better and we lack that mental and physical toughness. Our defense plays 2-hand touch unless the game is on the line and then Poyer's hitting a defenseless receiver helmet to helmet when the guy already is well-covered.

There were good elements out there today, but this team was never constructed or coached to be able to impose its will on other teams and win. And it hasn't been for more than a decade.

The sad thing is if the Dolphins get a stop there and win the game after getting the ball then a young player needing something to build on would have made the defensive play of the game. Instead he made the stop and Poyer negates it but ramming the guy in the helmet while the ball while already drifting away.
