Just curious. I've been debating with a Bills fan over on the range and he stated that he felt the Bills had more talent than the Dolphins do. At first I laughed than I started going over each position and had actaully had a tough time responding. Here is what I came up with.

We have a better all around defensive line despite age. We have the best LB in the bunch but Fletcher, Spikes and Crowell are collectively better than Thomas, Crowder and Spragan. There secondary is better than ours right now.

Offensively, the O-lines are about equal, the WR's are close but we again have the best in the bunch (but Evans is no slouch) our TE is better, our QB is better (but if you compare Culpeppers and Losman's last 8 games that's debatable) and there RB is more proven.

Is that about right???????

No their corners are good but their safeties aren't that great and I don't think their o-line or d-line is that impressive.

true about the safties. Whitner is hopefully going to pan out at ss, but for now Wire is starting and he sucks. And everybody is high on Ko Simpson to take over for Vincent at some point this year, but again, Vincent is still the starter for now and he pretty much sucks. The O-line and D line are both mildly improved from last year, but neither is anything special. I think certainly Miami has a better D-line, but the O-lines are even.

Is everybody still crazy high on Roth around here? I haven't seen much from him.

I thought taking Whitner with a top ten pick was a bit of a reach especially with so many other talented players left on the board.

Ask him this, if Miami and Buffalo switched coaching staffs, who has the better year??

Saban > Jauron

Buffalo has decent starters and they really arent far behind us talent wise...the difference is we are far deeper at MOST positions D line and O-line (our O-line seconds stringers are pretty close to the starters not such a great thing really but we are deeper) WR and RB and QB.. They might be deeper at LB and secondary but its not buy much.

our d-line really dominates theirs badly. our d-line is our best part (despite willie parker having 1 lucky run)

im really hyped about next week.

even tho on paper we should beat the bills, they are of course our division rivals, they play their absolute best games vs us, every year.

buffalo will always play us tough, no matter the records

we should win tho. SHOULD WIN.

How can anyone measure anything at this point? We will see how good Buffalo is today against the Pats. They lose, Buffalo fans wont be talking anymore about their "talent" levels.
