Bills looking at Donnie Henderson for Defensive Coordinator

Would be a good hire for Buffalo. Has the personnel to blitz and leave Corners by themsevles(Clements,McGee), that'd be a good move.

Does he run a cover 2, or the Tampa 2 more specifically? I should know since I see the Jets twice a year, but Im not sure.

I like DOnnie also. Dick Jauron biggest problem was hiring bad assistants, Im hoping this is a good sign that he will change that.

Also, how is his relationship with John Abraham?

In his 1st year he always wanted to run a bump-N-run man-to-man scheme. But the corners at the time(Donnie Abraham and David Barrett) are clearly not man-corners who can stay with fast receivers.

He mostly ran a Cover-2 due to the slow secondary, but in his 1st year it was the 7th ranked defense. Last season he was able to play more man but the injuries cost him badly...

Anyway, he likes to depend on his front 4 alot, but does call his fair share of blitzes if he has the corners who you can leave by themselves, which Buffalo has. He's a coach who can get the full potential out of your players, something that bodes very well for McGee and Clements...

His relationship with Abraham seemed good to me, all the players liked him.

If Clements is here. Marv Levy always kept his good players, unlike Donahoe, so we will see what happens.

I see Donnie going to Kc KC has a better D than Jills and Donnie can do wonders there
He'll go to KC if he can't get the Buffalo DC. I mean he would obviously prefer being a Coordinator than a Secondary coach...And I don't know how much better KC's D is, if any...You lose Pat Williams and Takeo Spikes you're gonna take a few steps back.

Spikes comes back and Buffalo I assume is going with Ngata...Both teams a very talented on the defensive side of the ball.

goood move by Millen for once

Good and bad, I wanted him in buffalo.

Jim Bates is still out there. We need to dish out the bucks.

Bates is a real hot name out there for DC and many teams are going after him. It's going to be a bidding war for Bates and if you want him, then you will have to give him the big bucks.

Not anymore, only the Texans and Bills need one. The Texans want Jerry Gray. There is no reason the Bills dont go after Bates.
