Bills | McGahee made available for trade

Updating an ongoing story, <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/17">Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Buffalo Bills are open to trading RB Willis McGahee and they likely have at least one possible suitor in the New York Giants. The Bills apparently have soured on McGahee, who is entering the final year of his contract.

Can't believe they would trade him away but that is very Jill like...

There are a couple reasons why they are looking to trade him

1. The whole penthouse interview thing
2. He has been called out three times for not running hard
3. Currently demanding an extension of top 5 money with average play
4. His stock is as high as it is gonna get with the Bills, if he plays next year with buffalo teams will know he will not be re-signed.
5. With a Weak Draft and Weak FA Class this year, they may get inflated offers for him.

If they do get this deal done Look for Lynch to be a Bill with the 12th Pick. Specualtion is the Giants are offering a 2nd and a 4th. there has also been word that they are offering their 20th pick

Also Marv wants a Thurman type back, and I think there are alot of people in the Front Office that think Lynch is just that

It won't be difficult to draft a rookie rb that will equal or surpass McGahee's production. He was a headache anyway. Guys from "da U" are always pretty ridiculous nowadays.

hahahaha, yea we noticed that during the superbowl and pro bowl... where the hell ya been WC... been kinna mia... I thought for sure you'd be here with your broom keeping us in line...:goof:

After watching some of Lynch's higlight films. And if he can run that 4.3 forty people are talking about I am going full blown on his bandwagon. I want an explosive versitile back in Buffalo again.

If this gets Willis out of the AFC east then im all for it. The Giants would be making on very good deal on there part. If they were to pick up Lynch than bills fans wouldn't exactly be missing him, Lynch is very solid. It would be absolutely hilarious if say someone traded up and picked him up before the 12th pick, you guys would be so screwed its not even funny. Now with that said, the probability of a team trading up for him is low.

Oh cnc, there's just not much to talk about these days. I mean there's the one half of finheaven that will continue to rag on the bills and their players no matter what and then there is the other half who understand most aspects of football. It's not real fun bringing up the sweep because the more intelligent side of finheaven consists of members that I respect, like you cnc.

I could talk all day about what I think the fins need, but that other half just isn't interested in hearing about how a bills fan thinks the fins can improve their situation. Afterall, some finheaven members are in such an impressive state of denial that they cannot even recognize some of the teams glaring weaknesses.

But since you are asking for it I'll have to indulge once. Woo! Sweep! Broom-time! Dust-pan status! Shutout.com! Goose egg! Annnnd I'm done, lol.

Anyways, for the McGahee thing, I've just had my fill of the guy. Yes he had potential, but he also had a bad work ethic and a huge ego, no matter how he performed on the field. 50% of McGahee's carries throughout his career have been for one yard or less. Willis was supposed to be a homerun threat, yet his longest runs were only 50 yards and against the Jets.

The bills need a good pass-receiving back. Lynch seems to fit the bill, but if he doesn't end up in Buffalo I'm pretty confident we can grab a gem out of the later rounds. Afterall, HB is the easiest spot to replace in the NFL. So pretty much all I have left to say is later Willis, wish you would have tried harder.

Here's an article that suggests McGahee didn't know what he was doing on most play because he didn't read the playbook.

"Willis literally didn't know what to do on the plays," a source said. "After the play was called, we'd have another coach signaling to Willis what to do because he didn't know. He'd miss blocks [in pass protection] a few times, not because he was beat, but because he didn't know what he was doing. "He just doesn't study. … His teammates noticed it, and it affected how they viewed him in the locker room."

Sickening.

All I have to say after reading that.

Thats pathetic. As a RB you only have to learn how to do your routes and where to hit the gaps, etc. Thats just a sign of no commitment.

Yeah,Superbowl highlights like Hester,Wayne.....what a headache!!!! Good point..Bill fan right?

I really dont care what happens with Willis. If he stays, he stays. If he goes, he goes, as long as we replace him, i'll be happy, Id prefer to get Patrick Willis in the first round and not a RB, but if willis can't get his act together, than we'll have to check out other options.

You're blind if you don't see the attitude from the U players that the Bills fan is talking about.

You think we want to go through that again with yet another Miami player?
